Could it be a coincidence?
In what sense is the rooftop swimming pool in a Shanghai skyscraper 'rustic/adobe-type'?

So True
Sean Connery and Roger Moore shared the same M in a few films and MoneyPenny
Latter Roger Moore and Timorous Dalton had Brown as M
Then was Pierce and Daniel had Judi Dench as M
And all execept Craig had Desmond as Q.
Does that mean that for the actor after Craig, his 0th Bond film will be a "Gold" film?
I thought Teri Hatcher was the nefarious one in Tomorrow Never Dies.
She killed the movie, after all.
Just kidding. :P
And it worked it did make me laugh.
But still killing a movie is the least bad of the evils hehe. No really she wasn't that bad and she had a very good chemistry with Pierce.
Main henchperson returns to have a final crack at killing Bond after the main plot is resolved.
John Glen's films
The ally dies in the first half of the film.
I very much like that sense of vertigo, like what we got in the helicopter fight in SP. OP, TLD and LTK moments in particular worked well. Stuff like that should be in more Bond films.
The only place I remember is the montage sequence and I just had a look, it's not actively raining. There's drops on the car but no droplets falling on the car.
;)
Yeah I saw that. But it doesn't look like it's raining at that precise moment. There's no droplets falling onto the car or the ground.
Bit of a technicality but it's nice to think that it took the 21st movie to have rain on screen :)
One of the weaknesses of the Brosnan era IMO: the obligatory evil Bond girl. It made it seem by the number. Two Bond girls for each movie, one good one bad. That is actually one of the things they did right in TND. They broke the pattern. Sadly the bond girls were not very good.
There seems to be a lot of explosions in the series, especially towrds the end. I find it tedious. Explosions I liked are the one during the boat chase in FRWL, and in the GF pts. Mostly, I find them boring.
The plane crashed and exploded.
