Oh and the Aqua Terra he wears in Spectre is featured here >>> OMEGA Watches: Planet OMEGA - Cinema - SPECTRE

The AT from Spectre is very very similar to the Skyfall model with first look. But I saw it in the Omega shop in Glasgow and it looked considerably larger.

The AT comes in 2 sizes: 38mm and 41mm. DC wore a 38mm in SF. He may be wearing a 41mm in SP, or maybe you saw the 41mm size only.

Yeah I though that. I think he is wearing the 41mm this time round. Jealous cause the watches they make for him are a higher grade than the high street, I remember reading this after Skyfall, apparently Dan is real watch connoisseur. I believed the special PO made for Skyfall was auctioned off for a fortune.

Yes, they are entirely two different watches. Firstly, the Spectre AT is larger with a 41.5mm case size whereas the Skyfall AT is a 38.5mm case. And secondly, the Spectre AT utilise an entirely different movement of the Master Co-Axial and is anti-magnetic. But aesthetics wise, I prefer the Skyfall AT. I like how the date window looks on the Skyfall AT and prefer the brushed bracelet to the polished center links bracelet of the Spectre AT. They both look really good though with a very mesmerizing blue dial..

I personally prefer the SF AT and will get one if Swatch Group does its annual sale (usually around December timeframe) or on the used market. Like @imranbecks, I prefer the brushed centre links & chrome date window on the SF AT. I also prefer the AT in the 38mm size (more dressy which is the role it fits best).

I haven't really taken to the 300 personally. I prefer the older Planet Ocean 2500, which I have and which it looks very similar to, because I do like a date on my watch (sold my Railmaster recently due to the lack of a date and got a Clooney Hour Vision instead).

@bondjames, I had failed to notice that the 300 was missing the date! That is a bit of a disappointment!

I went window shopping on Tuesday and they allowed me to take a comparison photo of my Lorus with the AT! The real deal is really something to behold!

@JET007 I know many purists prefer the face without a date because it gives a more proportionate look throughout the dial. The argument in favour of no date is that everyone has a phone these days which shows the date if needed.

I get that, but I still glance at my watch automatically for the date, and that was the only reason I sold my Railmaster. I loved that watch apart from the lack of date function.

I thought Omega would introduce a 'date version' of the 300 this year specifically for SP, given they get so much marketing through Bond, but it did not happen. They may put one out in a year or two. I think they intentionally kept the 300 very retro in style, because it's meant to recall the original Seamaster 300 (SM300) from the 1960's (below). That's why it has 'painted' instead of 'applied' dial markers, no chrome borders on the markers & why it has the faux patina.

Your Lorus holds its own against the AT imho. In fact, it looks very much like the quartz version of the AT.

I can't get used to wearing a watch without a date wheel on the dial as well.. It would be awkward because I rely on my watches whenever I want to check what date it is, especially useful when at work. Which is why again, I much prefer the Aqua Terra. Trying my best to save up for that.

I don't need my watch to tell me the date luckily but I suppose it still would have been a more favourable attribute to include. Anyway my SM300...

Thanks, @bondjames! I try to console myself with that fact as I try to save up!

@doubleoego, nice pic! The superluminova looks great!

After having seen Spectre, I was happy to see the 300 and Aqua Terra get screentime! Still don't know which is my favourite, tho.

Both the SM300mc and the AT are stunning watches and both were worn well by Craig. It's a terribly difficult choice to pick one over the other but I think for Bond tge AT takes it as Bond's choice of watch since SF.

Yeah... I prefer the Aqua Terra. It looks spectacular in person. Although i think the one he wore in Spectre is too big for the look of the case. When it comes to the AT, I prefer the smaller size of the AT that he wore in Skyfall..

It's strange, I think the SF AT looks the best as a 38.5mm but the master coaxial version in SP looks and wears better as a 42mm.

I personally prefer the SF AT at 38.5mm to the master coaxial.

I'm going to try & pick a decent example up on the second hand market, but would also be open to it with the rarer black face (rather than SF blue) in the same smaller case size.

Here are the two Omega's worn in Spectre... The AT and the SM300... The AT is beautiful!

The AT looks huge in that photo, even though they are both 41mm. Probably the bezel on the SM300 impacting perceptions.

Yes. That and also because the case of the AT is angled upwards whereas the SM300 case is laying flat.

I walk in and ogle one of only two they have in the Omega store at the Roseville Galleria in Northern California, near Sacramento. He asks, quite nicely, 'wanna try it on?' Uh.....OK. Awesome look. A larger face and much heavier than I thought. $7,500.00 for this baby. No laser. And he gave me a VERY nice Omega/Spectre book.

    Oh dear, you're wearing a fanny pack? [-( [-X

Did you at least by the watch to make up for such an unspeakable fashion error?

I'm afraid not. The fanny pack holds all the gear assigned by Q Branch. I have to bring it all back in pristine order.

Guys, does anyone know where I can find a good replica of the NATO strap Omega in SPECTRE? Any reliable websites out there? Thanks!

You can get decent replicas of the strap with a genuine OMEGA buckle on ebay for about $100. Just type in Omega NATO when you get to ebay.

Alternatively, if you want the NATO look but don't want the length (or to thread it through the loop buckle) then I recommend the following straps from Hellonatostrap.com which I use from time to time on my Planet Ocean. Love them both.

Sorry, I should've specified. I'm actually looking for a replica of the entire watch, not just the strap. Any ideas?
