    I think it's worthwhile to consider the possibility that Craig may not want to work with someone like Campbell. After all, his power within the Bond universe has only grown exponentially since that film, and the sort of directors he has chosen, and apparently wants for B25, are anything but Campbell-like in their approach. No, I think what he's looking for is more of the emotional stuff. Has anyone asked him what his favourite Bond film is? I wouldn't be surprised if he said SF.

    EDIT: If I'm not mistaken, Campbell has said that he would be open to a return if a new actor is cast.

    The camera angles, particularly during the crane fight, were absolutely top notch imho. As for the costuming, I'd rather have Lindy Hemming than Temime. Sure, some of the casual gear was a bit off in CR, but her formal wear elevated the film. Craig hasn't look better than during that first dinner jacket sequence. As for the sets, that was because they didn't have $250M to waste on that film. They were operating on a relatively tight budget, unlike with the later films.

    If one is referring to the outfit Bond wears during the crane sequence, that I can understand. Still, Craig's other outfits looked far better in CR. His suits actually fit, whereas in SF, I can recall him being compared to Pee-Wee Herman on one thread based on his tailoring.

    I believe Craig s sentimental favourite is LALD, as it was the first he saw.

    Yes, the casual gear in CR was off (including the jacket he wore when he landed in the Bahamas). However, the suits were spot on and I agree that they fit better (or at least looked more appropriate on someone who is supposed to favour fine tailoring). Actually, come to think of it some of the casual stuff was great, including the blue polo shirt and the white short sleeve shirt he wore when he arrives at the hotel.

    There's nothing amateurish about CR at all. It's excellent across the board.

    I watched it last night with a few friends of mine. The film actually got better this time around, and the soundtrack was beautifully conducted and outright professional, which didn't even have to use the Bond Theme quite often. I do miss David Arnold.

    I can't say I miss him, but I agree that the CR score is first class. If he'd scored all his Bond films that way I would indeed miss him.

    It's noticeable how decent his score was in CR when in the last five years we've only had to hear Thomas Newman's abysmal tune repeatedly. I don't know what happened with that composer because he's definitely not bad one outside Bond.

Here's the deal: If you won't officially make a big Bond 25 related announcement by the 5th of March, 23:59 (UK time), I will BOYCOTT every single non-Bond production by EON from now on. I'm serious. No Film Stars Don't Die in Liverpool Blu-Ray, no The Rhythm Section, nothing.

    I don't think many of us will be lining up for that Liverpool film. It was shut out of Oscar contention as well, despite having a fashionably important role for a woman. That should say something. Rhythm Section I may view, but I'm not all that excited for it either.

    Regarding March 5th: Craig is still Bond, so I can't see Nolan taking the job this time around.

    At risk of this sounding silly, but has Film Stars Don't Die In Liverpool actually been released anywhere? I'm living in an area with only a couple cinemas that mainly play mainstream films.
    I was under the impression Film Stars was to have come out last December.
