Realistic or not, I have a better chance of riding a shark into space while winning the lottery than we would having any of these fan treatments used or even considered by EON.

They won't even be looking, most production companies don't take unsolicited scripts or treatments in case you sue them if they consequently use one of your ideas.

It is nice sometimes to see ideas that you had years ago pop up in a film. I remember
seeing way back in the 70s a Blue Peter episode ( Kids show) a skydiving training
machine and immediately thought if they could film in there, that could look very
good in a skydiving sequence. Which is how they do a lot of it these days. :)

I just wish they used back projection instead of that awful green screen.

Julian, I mean Gillian Anderson is the latest star to jump on the Bond wagon. Scully Bond:

Now I totally want to see a 5"3, 47 year old woman fight Dave Bautista

This evening, I was reminded that Gregory Ratoff, when he controlled the Casino Royale rights in the 1950s, wanted to turn Bond into a woman and cast Susan Hayward. The more things change.... :-)

Most amusing, and she's got the same odds as Turner, Hiddelston and all the rest.

First they want to give Captain America a boyfriend now this. Why does this stupidity continue to thrive?

Seems like so many people want changes like this just for the novelty of a change, with no regard for whether or not it is best for the character or the story.

Madeline - I do not expect her back. If Craig returns, I expect a very brief explanation fo what happened to her. I absolutely doNOT want this to be portrayed as OHMSS. If Craig returns, then that particular Blofeld needs to be in the next one two. Just finish the story arc.

I think EON should have stepped in by now, by the way. I sort of agree with GL, but maybe not quite as strongly (damned if he does, damned if he doesn't). But I think a word from EON is needed as these stories are so out of control. Even for a lifelong fan like myself, it is all turning things rather sour. Sick of the speculation and same old, same old.

There is no problem if Craig returns if the script is great. And pretty much same if he does not return, though leaving the storyline unfinished with Spectre (it just is unfinished and that is obvious) is not my cup of tea. I strongly prefer it finished. As usual, the script is so very, very important. But I am beyond tired of hearing about Craig and possible replacements, to be honest.

Yes, all true. And its him who is taking all tje blows. Where is your love Babs? :-??

All these headlines have brought him into an impossible position. He will end up as hated as at the start. But what do THEY care? Nothing obviously, even though I sm pretty sure Daniel is the first to agree to ignore it all. Still not the best way.

Good point, Germanlady. I am surprised a bit that there is nothing coming from her specifically. I wonder how busy the action must be behind the scenes, at Eon,..? Meetings, persuasions, script ideas being floated, serious chat, rendezvous we know nothing about ... or everybody just eating take out pizza and watching TV, staying out of the fray, listening to old Sinatra songs and not caring to take a stand. (now there are 2 extreme visualizations - ha!)

The recent comments on this forum would probably send the good people at EON into deep depression.

I think they just give up on fans, really. It would drive them crazy, surely.

Well they never took any action before. But this is something else. Often enough I couldnt understand their actions or non actions. But like I sais, I am sure Daniel totally agrees on this. He will never defend himself and just go about his business. Maybe the best way after all. It just drives me crazy. :\">

It's because Bond is the ultimate icon of masculinity in modern culture. A straight white man who is sexually "forward" towards women, and that is something that's considered toxic in some PC/"progressive" circles, so what better way to tear down this icon than to campaign to try and turn him gay, bi, black, or into a woman?

Oooooooooohhhhhhh!!! Sounds dull, depressing and batshit insanely stupid. To try to block that craziness out of my mind, I'm going to watch this Politically Incorrect, Macho action, masculine straight white hetero action.

@Murdock that 1996 VHS trailer takes me back, I remember how it made me excited to watch all the Bond films that I hadn't seen.

Why is EoN quiet? Why is Craig quiet? Why aren't they saying yay or nay? Or just anything?
