@Risico007 the cyborg thing would have only lasted two minutes and there's a very small chance it would have made it to the screen. With that scene omitted and a few other things done a little differently, then Bond 17 with Dalton would have been a pretty fun flick. His GF or TSWLM.
I wonder how that rumor got started anyway. I still like to think that would have been the title.
Even though I would have liked a third Dalton effort, to a degree I'm glad he stopped with the two he did. I think his era is internally consistent at least.
How does Dalton usually do in more fantastical movies? I haven't seen The Rocketeer so maybe that would be a good indication.
Agree. TLD is as balanced as a Bond film could possibly be. Another one like that would have been my preference.
I just have an image of him as Mr. intense Bond who can snap at any moment.
I am assuming January is when we will start getting rumors and this is truely the calm before the storm so as we go into the season of Bond I would like to say thank you to everyone this ride has been probably the most intriguing of any bond film to date with rumors of a new actor rumors of different direction and then the same direction etc Danny Boyle in then Danny Boyle our and now something none of us thought we would see in our life time An American Director... (which I like to think made Spielberg slightly annoyed)
Over all we can all say a lot of things but the last 3 years have been anything but boring
Well, the Bond franchise was about to become the 'Property of a Lady' and that's probably as good as it'll ever get :))
Don't forget to wear sunglasses :)
I'll keep that in mind... ;)
What?! :-O
I know it would have been a left field choice (like Craig), but I sometimes wonder how Toby Stephens could have been as Bond (if not already having played a villain, of course).
I’m hoping we hear some info. this month. Hopefully by the end of December. Then again, with the holidays I could be completely wrong.
Filming starts maybe in June? I think CF is used to the tv time frame so it wont take them long to film. We shall see..
Valid point. I’m even starting to wonder if filming will be delayed a few more months.
I think he did just alright i DAD. He played a nasty character just fine (and it wasn't that much to work with script-wise).
Did he? Would have been interesting with a former villain actor ending up playing the hero himself.
Just not on the screen.
Filming starts in March.
Filming is SUPPOSED to start in March. @CASINOROYALE may be correct in saying filming will start in June instead.
I don’t see it being effects heavy, one thing I am worried about is CF’s lack of movie experience, especially with a huge budget. Hopefully he isnt overwhelmed. Storywise I am not worried.
This.
I wouldn’t be concerned; he has worked as a cinematographer and in other technical capacities. Jane Eyre is gorgeous. He’s a director with a strong technical pedigree.
