Oslo is not the only city in Norway, mind you...
Places like Bergen, Ålesund, Trondheim and Tromsø are far more spectacular, and that is not mentioning all the smaller, picturesque villages along the coast.
But obviously the main draw will be the scenery.
The architecture is just not very interesting when compared to spectacular, "Bond worthy" cities. Calling it "a total dump" is a wild exaggeration though... the scenery around is quite pleasant, and it is sure a nice city to live in.

I say with all honesty I know nothing about this update, but I'd say this may be more than a grain of salt.
Logistically speaking (and much to my chagrin)
EDIT: this ring entirely true. This was a leak that was given the go ahead.
Great with rumours, but don't know if this is one rumour I'd like to come true. Don't mind Lea Seydoux, but the chemistry with Craig wasn't there at all, IMO.
Re-editing my post above, this rings entirely true. This was a very specific leak. I'd bet my house she's in 25 (for how long, who knows?); maybe she and Craig, with a new director, will have some connection? Some spark?
They would have to address Swan's relationship with Bond if the continuity arch thing was to be maintained. Hope it gets resolved really quickly in the pts. So who's next on the coming back list, Blofeld?
If so, let it be a proper YOLT adaptation, please.
yes
After all this time I really didn't want to be reminded about SP in any way shape or form when viewing B25, and sadly it looks like I will have to be.
Oh well. Hopefully Fukunaga can create some movie magic. At least my expectations are going to be sufficiently low this time, and so perhaps I'll be pleasantly surprised by the eventual result.
Only if you're referring to the death scene. Cause her father's dead and Bond's already in a relationship with her, so that would make SP the OHMSS rip-off. This would make the 25th a YOLT rip-off, with the vengeance angle being played to the full. A personal angle all over again. Well, at this point, who knows?
Big yes, exciting no.
Except Wishaw’s return. I hope the Q scene is as excellent as in sp (one of the few unqualified good things about that film).
But I hope seydoux has as small of a role as possible, and that harris and fiennes are mostly confined to their traditional roles.
If Seydoux returns, then I wonder how much part of the story the character of Madeleine Swann will have – and being the the daughter of Mr. White, if Spectre will too. My first reaction was that this might end up as some sort of revenge driven plot…
He's given us massive stories, leaks, confirmations, ..., before. He's EONs go to leak guy.
I thought for sure that this would be a stand-alone story. Seydoux returning debunks that entirely. But a silver-lining (for those disappointed by this development) is that all those actors will be put to much better use with Fukunaga at the helm.
I wonder if she gets killed off early then it sets the events of the YOLT novel into order
Just keep the scooby gang grounded. No ear devices and cell phones. No team work. No M on the field. Please!
Hopefully. Disappointing news imo. Want to forget that sp exists while watching bond25.
So maybe Bond just dumps her at the start. That would bring a smile to my face certainly.
Well it could retro inject some quality into SP...Who knows?
