For me, the most clear indication that Craig has chosen to move on is the tv series. I don't see EON wanting their Bond actor to be starring in a tv series at the same time that he is the incumbent Bond. Has that ever happened before?

I agree 100 percent. I don't think it would kill off B Broccoli's desire to get Craig back but I don't think it's the ideal situation. I reckon C Broccoli would have done everything in his power to persuade the likes of Connery, Moore, and the other Bonds to stick with film and not go into tv. But tv is regarded as more high profile these days.

No I know but until I see a press release and an official pic of The new Bond... Daniel Craig IS James Bond 007

    That is true of course.

Again, if you're unhappy with the results there are far more pertinent people to direct your frustrations at.

By 'results', I presume you mean the ever fluctuating market? There are no 'results' anywhere that I can see.

I'd take Theo James anyday to avoid Jamie Bell.

They just confirmed that Pierce Brosnan is returning as Bond, with Lee Tamahori as the film director to make a follow-up to Die Another Day.

Agreed. Theo James is somewhat reminiscent of a young Connery.

We can't really be sure, from betting alone, who will be Bond. It's more an indicator, or probability. Like Guidelines, more than actual rules. We know Turner is the most likely at the moment. That's worth celebrating in my book. \:D/

Hey, and Disney acquires the rights and they make the martians as the main villains, with Tamahori directing. Oh and not to mention... Flying invisible cars that fire sharks in the air with laser beams attached to their heads. =))

When I saw that clip on the boat on the news from which that photo above came from, I remember thinking EON had lost their marbles. Only when I saw the first photo of him holding the PPK with that steely glare did I realize Babs was onto something.

@bondjames I was at the gym on that day. CNN on the TVs. I felt sick.

And then there was the promo-pic with the PPK... and shortly thereafter the re-do publicity pic with the proper hair cut... My tension started to ease...

    The payoff was CR.

Exactly what happened with me @peter, and in between I also watched Layer Cake, which allayed my irrational fears and raised anticipation.

I was a freshman in high school and I am and home from school and it was my mom who told me Daniel Craig is the next James Bond! Then I was like "who"? I had never heard of Craig before Bond and I never saw any film of his before Casino Royale
