That newest article about him “leaving” doesn’t leave me particularly positive or negative. There’s not really much to go on other than Burns turned in a draft (who knows if good or bad?)

Agreed. It's mostly what Ralph Fiennes said plus the fact that Burns finished his involvement.

So Burns probably won’t have much more time, if any, to help. Hopefully he left the script in better shape than he found it. That newest article about him “leaving” doesn’t leave me particularly positive or negative. There’s not really much to go on other than Burns turned in a draft (who knows if good or bad?) and now he’s busy with other stuff. I’m not the least surprised the script isn’t “finished,” and most likely they’ll begin filming anyway like what they did for QOS.
    Precisely.

How is Burns handing in a draft a negative development?
Hear hear. At the very least they should have a solid foundation to build upon. I reckon they’re in a better position with this than they were with Spectre.

Exactly. This was always going to happen, and it's not the first time this has happened in the last five decades either!

If somehow they were in a WORSE position than with Spectre, then it’s time to call it quits.

Rodrigo Pérez also says that the script is apparently unifinished, so that's guesswork. As I read it, he thinks it's unfinished because Fiennes hasn't read it yet.

Baz is Eons “leaker” so I wouldn’t expect him to tell the truth.

This article sounds like another case of "let's make assumptions because we have nothing substantial".

It sounds like the troubles of QoS. I hope it doesnt effect the movie if thye begin filming with no finished script. I mean, the fact some actors havent even been given a script this late to the shooting date is a bit concerning.

"Fiennes hasn't read the script yet" + Scott Z. Burns finished his B25 involvement + Maybe script is unfinished.

Don’t know what to think, personally. But, like @RC7 pointed out sometime ago, they do have their in-house writers. We’ll find out if filming begins in their scheduled times. After all... a set is being built in Norway. I don’t expect them to suddenly tear it down.

A draft from Scott Burns is more than a mere draft. He wouldn't be so respected otherwise.

Now there is a set, there's a distributor, there's a director... I think there's not much to worry about. Besides that article didn't add anything substantial out of the same Fiennes article/interview we saw around

It is funny how his reputation has been forgotten in the month since he was hired. But alas, it's easier to be all doomy and gloomy.

Actors, if professional enough, can work with tight deadlines. Eva Green was cast about two weeks before she began shooting, so wouldn't have had long to learn the script and find the character of Vesper. She would've also only had a couple of initial weeks with a dialect coach to work on her English as well so these things can be done. I know it's a bit different but I'm sure that the actors not having scripts yet won't be a problem when it actually comes to shooting the scenes.

If we don't hear anything by mid April you can bet on November 2020.

If anything shooting will be delayed not the release date, but I very much doubt any delays will happen.

I doubt they will delay again. They must be certain on april to announce it a second time. It would be a complete joke and laughing stock if they delayed a third time.

    Just wait!

I certainly think we wont be thrilled about that. I was suprised they said thrilled in the first place for a second delay. It was a complete disappointment for fans. HAHA

If craig or fukunaga aren't happy with the script they will have no choice to delay. You can't film a movie with a script nobody is happy with, if they do it'll just be another qos.
