    Frozen. Released November 2013.

Frozen II. Due to be released November 2019.

That's SIX YEARS for Disney to create the follow-up to one of its most successful, critically-acclaimed animated films of all time.

I guess Disney has no idea what they're doing. /s

Accusations that Risico and Panchito set-up a fake twitter account (read Risico's rather self-deprecating and funny posts, and read the twitter feed from the guy called Greg; it most certainly does sound like someone from this site, but not Risico, and not Panchito either)...

The betting of some kind of a delay (although Burns was hired for a month to do polishes and he delivered his assignment on time)...

The idea that re-writes on a script don't happen this late in the game (they can happen right into post-- after all, the art of the edit is the final draft of a project)...

    This is just nuts.

It's a film. It's about to start shooting. We have had enough verifications from stunt people in London and working at Pinewood, to Baz talking about locations, to casting and actors training (I love the look of Magnussen's fighting style-- he definitely knows how to box and move... I have a feeling his character and James Bond will find themselves scrapping each other), to a set being built in Norway... What the hell is the problem here?

Pack it in guys. Your like boys with toys. haha :)

In the end, I would rather have a longer wait and delays if it ment a better movie out of it. I really want them to succeed with the qualities of Casino Royale, and if more time is required then let it be. Who else is with em on that ?

And I can say no matter what it’s not going to make the Skyfall... I feel some here are just looking for the Spectre of defeat when they should really find their Quantum of Solace. Eon knows what is at stake and the world is not enough for them, now it’s true their have been delays but Tomorrow Never Dies. The film has lived and will not Die another Day. I have been keeping my Goldneye on this thread and I swear I have A view to a Kill here... everyone screaming shouting calm down sometimes this place scares The Living daylights our of me remember only Bond has a Licence to Kill...

Now I would tell you what I am gonna do with my wife tonight instead of all this complaining but it involves a Sean Connery film title and a Roger Moore title I will leave you all to think of that..

What a joy, to come home to pages and pages of forum wars set up once again by the Cardinal himself, the 1st Duke of Richelieu and Fronsac, Monsieur PP. I won't bother to read any of it. Just saying goodnight to one and all. We're one day closer to Bond number 25. Awesome. Bye bye.

But EON needs to secure a hell of a lot more in making a big-budget live action film than Disney does in creating an animated feature--which, these days, is computer-generated.

Point is: Why did it take Disney six years to write and film an animated follow-up to Frozen?

Moreover, it has taken Disney NINE YEARS to release its latest Toy Story film.

Is that incompetence? Or an indication that it can often take some time to get all the gears in place? That there are fans criticizing the process may mean that those fans simply do not understand the process.

Wow, I’ve skimmed this and I’ve never seen so much pointless assumption. The fact that people think nothing is happening because we haven’t heard anything is just stupid along with many other things. I for one have studied scriptwriting and it is not as black and white as you may think.

All of these arguments against the film are based on assumption and pessimism, not fact.

@Denbigh you and obvious others I see as the remaining sanity in this thread.

I don't know about screenwriting therefore I wouldn't dare to question those with knowledge and experience. Yet some here who just aren't getting what they want to hear are acting like children.

Hyperbole is the order of the day and boy some here are latching onto like catnip.

Complete nonsequitur. Disney isn’t The House of Frozen and Toy Story. In the time that Eon have produced three Bond films, Disney has cranked out twenty one Marvel films, which have surpassed the lifetime inflation adjusted gross of the Bond franchise and its twenty four films.

Yes, because most Marvel films have different people involved and are made-up of team movies and many different solo movies, which is impossible for a James Bond property. If Marvel had only one character to base their stories upon then they'd be in the same boat as the James Bond franchise and Eon Productions.

They should've had spectre out in 2014 , especially considering the quality, b25 should've then came out in November 2018 to wrap up Craig's tenure, new actor and film debuts November 2021 and November 2022 for the 60th anniversary and to cement the new actor. That's the pace eon needs to move at and that's still with generous 3-4 year gaps.

lets not also forget this one point too... EON is extremely loyal to Craig - probably more loyal than any previous Bond actor.. they've gone on record as to saying that they are comfortable waiting for Dan to do his other projects before coming back.... so what is their hurry?....

... the only thing that has legitimate concerned me was the delay because of the script.. that worries me.... but.... if the end product is a great film - thats all that ultimately matters.

Clearly, Magnussen is in London training which suggest he has a physical role....perhaps the new henchman?

Magnussen isn’t the sharpest tool and is tagging the crew before he is announced. If (and it’s a big ‘if’) the rest of the film is cast and they have begun stunt training, I’d expect him to be adding them and tagging them on Instagram soon.

I’m convinced he will leak the news before the trades. Keep your eye on his page....

Reports suggested that Fukunaga re-wrote the part of the CIA agent in order to make it work with a younger actor. Perhaps Magnussen will play a CIA agent à la Fallout's August Walker. So he will need a lot of training.

Thank you @MaxCasino ! Although, when people are playing nice, there are plenty of good investigators on here, great piecing together and exciting talk, and people like @ColonelSun (who have worked with EoN!)!
Marvel films have different people involved and are made-up of team movies and many different solo movies
. This is it exactly-- teams producing the different characters and stories. EoN is one character, coming from one source, with one family running the show. It's an incredibly unique way of doing business-- especially in today's Marvel/Disney world.
Is that what your wife told you, @peter?
... Unfortunately I have to pay her to tell me that-- gets me up in the morning... (kinky)
