Now, back to Bond25, please ;) Almost at 2300 pages, this thread. Wow, isn't that something? :)
Well said, and a great post a few pages back. As for Bond 25, I think we'll be getting some casting news in the week. Rumors really. But I think some old faces will return, that haven't been confirmed yet.
"There's no news... like bad news"
Maybe, I just want to know if Christoph Waltz is coming back because he doesn't have any projects coming up it seems.
https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0910607/?ref_=nv_sr_1
A bigger role than expected, if cast, perhaps?
In the meantime people, calm down. IT IS JUST A MOVIE! We're getting close to actual news.
He may be respected. But he isn't really getting hired to do much.
well.. also, to be fair - we don't know what he has or hasn't been offered.. who knows - maybe he has turned stuff down..
he was the composer for the several episodes of SHERLOCK, he also has 2 mini series coming up here in 2019 that he is doing the composing for as well..
but also, Bond was what he was most known for - it's not like he was John Barry, or John Williams where they could do almost anything they wanted.. his bread and butter was 007 with a small smattering of other big titles thrown in..... i would like to see him do more major motion picture stuff - but he seems to have made a good transition into TV ..... whether he was forced to go that route, or if it was his choice - we don't know....... but i've had small exchanges with him via Twitter - not only is he a great guy, but he absolutely loves Bond, and he's said that the door is always open for him to come back... the only reason he wasn't on for the last two, is because Mendes preferred working with the composer he had worked with for years - thats not an uncommon practice..
It seems our pain and suffering will end (or at least will temporarily cease) in fewer than 10 days!
I really do hope that when filming begins or we have the press conference, that some of our membership will calm down.
I see no point or pleasure in being negative all the time.
MI: Fallout filmed for close to a week (with a major tourist attraction closed even longer than a week) - and that production only got 6m kroner through the incentive scheme, compared to B25s record high 47m kroner. Either the Nittedal/Langvann sequence is more expensive to shoot than we think it is (which is probably unlikely given what we know so far), or Norway will feature in a later stage in the production as well.
They might have started shooting already too. The Dagbladet video from before the weekend suggested as much – if the security guard's comment is correct. The quote was:
"Has the James Bond shooting started?", we ask when we pull into the small road. "Yes", smiles the security guard cheerfully.
What sources does this come from. Where did MI6 here this to confirm it as credible news ?
Having it land on 1st of April is odd
Apparently they have been in Italy too.
So Sebastien Soudais is really Malek's stunt double. Great news. So he will be in the film Yes ! ! !
Haha. I was just about to post that. He certainly let slip one of the biggest casting rumours didnt he haha
Please don't answer @Risico007's question.
@Risico007
We have spoken about that at length yesterday. Can we please give the issue a rest for a few weeks/months? We are trying to steer this thread in a positive direction. Clearly, @PanchitoPistoles has explained his thoughts on Barbara Broccoli in the previous few pages. Please feel free to read them there.
Thank you both.
Imagine the twist if it turns out Malek is not in the film, and Soudai's just a massive Queen fan :))
And a bit of a lookalike as well. Well, as much as one can be, given Malek's particular looks.
Too much of a coincidence. The rumours will b true. Plus, his hoodie is clearly a pun to MR ROBOT.
He also wouldnt have removed those parts if not. Im so pleased the rumours are true. I kind of suspected it after hit reply on the talk show
Indeed. Wouldn't be surprised if this guy does the stunt work in Norway, with Malek doing his bits at Pinewood Studios after finishing his Mr. Robot commitments.
Edit: or…
That sounds plausible
