Can't get much worse than young Indy mate. LOL
Interesting fact that Daniel Craig appeared in an episode of young Indy.
popular marketing plan ! :D
Yeah, I saw it. Tomb Raider it was called, wasn't it? :))
Dan is such a Harrison Ford fan boy, he cant help, any chance he can get he will dress like Indy https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/736x/32/c4/d3/32c4d32532c5aa2a248a67a7e0024b6d.jpg
Cowboys and Aliens, not for artistic merit, but was all about getting to work with Harrison.

Personally I still say November 2018 with Craig is quite doable
Of course this also means my two favorite to replace Craig (Fassbender and Hardy) will likely be too old to do the role (as they will be 41/40 by the time the final Craig film comes out and 44/43 by the time their "first" film is done)
Just a thought.
Still, I don't see Craig going for it unless it's something new for his character. He won't want to repeat himself and a standalone mission may not be enticing enough for him as an actor.
If they manage to wrangle him back, he will have a lot of say in how things go. If that's what he wants to do, they aren't in a position to boss him around.
For the final battle in movie form of bond vs Blofeld should the film be titled The Garden of Death or Blofeld?
But they will have to, 'cause it's here, they've written it. They can't just ignore it right now. It bothers me a lot.
Not too old IMO..would still be younger than Craig.
Bond 26 at 44
Bond 27 at 46
Bond 28 at 48
Bond 29 at 50
I am not saying that would not be impossible also before everyone pushes the Hardy is too well known is he really? The man usually picks independent films or villain roles... Apart from four films he really is just doing independent films.
Besides, I think he will star in the next Nolan in 2017
Hardy would also be 41 by late 2018 (both Fassbender and Hardy were 1977 babies). Your point still stands, of course.
our new Bond, so he'll be the right age when we need him. :D
Craig hasn't officially signed off on Bond. Yes he made a comment saying "I would rather slash my wrists", but Craig ends up in the hospital or injured every film. He also is most likely exhausted he gets in incredible shape and travels a lot and it takes a lot out of a person. Pre production then production then promoting the film.
I have been an actor for 12 years and I don't think people understand the scale of Bond films and how much work it takes to create them...
Also!! Hiddelston, Hardy and Elba will NOT be Bond. We won't get an announcement until the end of the year or early next year. They are all way to old to start a new chapter in the Bond franchise. Also keep in mind if Elba was Bond, he would produce one film..
Why would Barbara hire a guy for one film? She would only hire someone to do at least three or four. I just can't see them hiring an actor for one to two films. Makes no sense. In my opinion either Craig comes back or we get an English actor in his 25s-30s.
There's a greater chance of a young bond series then Elba or any of the other "rumored" actors becoming Bond... LOL.
It's just so amusing to see all these media websites going crazy over guys allegedly signing on or in talks.
Seems like this happens every time Craig has a small break in between films. It's really funny. I remember seeing posts claiming Craig was "fired", and they were upset with his performances... Like really
I agree with all of this. Bond isn't in the Disney image ultimately so it is doubtful.
I agree. I would imagine they'll get someone in their 30s (after the next movie or for the next movie, whatever the case may be) so that they can make several movies (25 sounds a bit too young).
