  • @RC7, did you not also suggest production is a long ways off? Just wanted to clear up whether or not you believe that to be the case.

If these infos about Croatia are true, then both Craig and Mendes are back, right?

    Didn't you exile yourself?

Anyway, so what's going on with Craig and this purity thing?

The purchase of the helicopter alone suggest that production is further along than has been revealed. If indeed it is for Bond 25 then it is for a specific purpose, either a scene or an entire sequence, which means that specific scene or sequence has been finalized. For this to happen the script is more than likely complete or at least close.
Pre-production is a broad term; at this point everything that is being done concerning Bond 25 is "pre-production."

If this news about Croatia is true, then they are already deep into pre-production, which means they very likely already have a director. Since we haven't heard any substantive rumors about the director of Bond 25, I'm thinking that if they already have a director for the movie then it must be Mendes.

Mendes came back because skyfall was received so well, think an oscar type director would come back a third time after his second film wasn't critically successful ?

My bet is it's David Mckenzie.

Oh and another thing I'm really sick of seeing the same stuff over and over again of " omg Bond your stuck in the 70's ur irrelevant we don't need spies" I hate it it's so annoying we've had a couple of films like that and I hope they accept that people like bond and think he's relevant and then just move on with the story

If Mendes is back it's obviously he didn't want any other director to countinue the Spectre storyline but himself. I can see Mendes being selfish like that for some reason

When the media doesn't find anything else to write about, they create stories speculating controversies out of context, like Bond being sexist and misogynist in the supposed latest movie in which that's nowhere to be found. They just love nagging. Gives them attention.

He looked young in those Logan Lucky pictures. Maybe Mendes is a vampire and leeches away Dan's looks. :))

+1. Both can be quite menacing when properly photographed.

I build a timemachine and traveled to future. 25 years from now, DC is still producing Bond with Sam Mendes (Broccoli started producing movies that interested her) and now after a long hiatus from acting they're rebooting Blofeld, who is now Bond's father, played by previous Bond, Daniel Craig.

This is also Aidan Turner's 9th Bond.

You will. You will pay good money to see that movie. Me, too.

I miss the days when 1985 was the future.

Me, too. I believe my folks and I saw an AVTAK matinee for about $3 per ticket. Maybe even less.

Wow - that image of Daniel Craig! Pretty impressive! Bears a resemblance to General Orlov! Guess we know who to cast in the Octopussy remake. ;))

Uhh, is this Photoshopped or did he actually sport hair like that for a movie?

Craig is physically fit at his age like no other Bond actor before him. However, there were closeups of his face in SP that were very unflattering. Moore looked way better in TSWLM. I hate to even discuss such things, as it's really not important, but I couldn't let that comment just slip by.

I thought his performance was. Well bad in SPECTRE it felt like the performance Connery gave in yolt
