Wouldn't read that into it. It was an event hosted by 20th Century Fox to celebrate The Ghetto Film School at BAFTA Piccadilly. Barbara Broccoli is BAFTA's Vice-President for Film, she was there in that capacity.
Just pointing out how easy is to swallow 'plausible' untruths. It's what I love about this place. Some people will happily swallow 'news' because it comes in the form of a legitimate website, regardless who it was written by, why they wrote it and what their purpose is. The same people simultaneously refuse to accept that a user on here might, heaven forbid, know of actual legitimate news, or rumours. Perhaps it's some sort of twisted jealousy. I've never really got it.
Oh, and regard your suspicions, would those be concerning the several posts I made, simply confirming to all those losing their heads, that B25 was absolutely in development? The same B25 that a couple of weeks later was to confirmed to have P&W on board?
What would a longstanding member have to gain from posting unsubstantiated gossip? I say as much as I can because if it was the other way around I would appreciate it. Obviously you and your cabal of butt hurts don't, which is your prerogative.
Here's a detailed report of the event from the Hollywood Reporter, for those interested.

Why you dirty little...
And I was just about to ask where you'd "heard" this from. Now I know. Emma Thompson would be a fantastic addition to the Bond legacy in whatever role. I'm putting her on my unofficial list of actors I'd like to see in a Bond film some day.
Careful, @barryt007, you're getting dangerously far away from discussing Daniel Craig's hair and the German premiere of Spectre. Gonna run this thread off rails. Let's keep the Italian to the "Discussion of the Italian Language Thread," shall we?
Hahaha you made me chuckle on a sad night for my city and country there, thanks chap !
Did they catch a virus?
At the very end of the article.

No idea. Only aware of editorial things. I would guess that once it's locked there will be a number of announcements.

Rumor has it that the producers (Bond-film doyenne Barbara Broccoli is among them, as well as Evans himself) are looking to transfer to New York as soon as possible. Either way, the production is getting only a limited run at the Royal Court through April 8, which is nearly sold out even before reviews hit.
2022 for an excuse to make Bond's 60th anniversary an event?
No. I'm still optimistic for next year, even though 2019 is seeming more likely.
That's a valid point. If they are waiting 5 years, Craig will definitely be gone. It makes more sense to start off the next Bond in a new decade, rather than at the tail end of one.
"How time flies."
But Campbell will be too old by then.
2020? 5 years after Spectre! Are you having a giraffe? Danny boy would be 100% out if that was the case. I think the "old dog" will be back sooner than you think.
It doesnt make sense to bring him back, his story arc has closed.
Yes, I agree.
