Mendes is gone for good. He almost walked off of SP, it was a long shoot, filled with troubles, and his slate is full; there's no way in Hell he's coming back for 25.
Or are you suggesting that we should disagree with everything that @Mendes4Lyfe says? I don't, although I take issue with his continued adamant advocacy for Turner as Bond.
@RC7, could you give us your thoughts? Are you at liberty to put this to bed once and for all re: Mendes's possible return.
What % would you give Mendes coming back?
0%
I've heard nothing of Mendes' return. I've heard several things re. B25 and none concern him. Wish I could be more definitive, but I can't . Right now I'd say 90% chance Mendes won't return.
Craig's certainly not looking very Bondish these days. Except for the Omega event a month or so ago.
Always the same. It's boring every time.
He would never do another Bond looking like that: he would be given the best trainers and diet to get back in shape. After all, he's an actor, he is not Bond... Part of the training itself will get him back in character.
This is not the early 70s where the producers would let an out of shape Sean, or Roger, with man-boobs, play a leading man.
DC will be whipped into shape, and fast.
Muscle memory is a wonderful thing
I have trained for twenty years even when relatively unfit I am in good shape, it's easy to gain muscle mass and improve cardio with intensive training. Craig has trained during filming before prime example is how he bulks up for most of the second half of CR, Craigs muscle mass gain is very noticeable in CR.
Craig is alot leaner during the airport sequence.
Daniel was the same throughout the production. No doubt he put his time in the gym and he realistically represents someone with an active military background.
The only time he looks "bulked-is when he emerges from the water; this is due to how he is framed in the shot and the lighting. Look at him when he pretends to be the parking attendant and later when he's working on his computer in his room at The Ocean Club. He's lean and muscular but not bulky in the least.
I've worked on quite a few photo shoot, both behind and in front of the camera. The camera and lighting can change ones appearance even during the same shoot.
because he didn't want to become known as "the fit Bond".
No problem I'll delete them, direct images are frequently posted on this site from films did not realise.
The simple rule is no Bond images, videos or posters. If it's owned by EON, then we respect their wishes.
Your penchant for making your fantasy a supposed reality is often concerning, and even more so that you actually seem to believe this stuff. I was simply hoping that the delusions and myopic awareness you've expressed were only responsible for creating in your head the notion of Turner being the next Bond, and nothing else. Like a cancer, it spreads...
