Eon cant even make one bond film as we have seen with the past two outings and yall want them to make 2 at the same time. Also craig is getting too old they should use this extra time now to get Fassbender on board

do you guys think Nolan is 100% ruled out. maybe he would make an exception to his normal procedure of film making.

I've read this on AJB and I thought simply amazing for a reboot with a new actor as Bond.

"...Craig's Bond die at the end of the movie. The PTS of the next Bond film with a 6-2, dark haired, handsome, cleft-chinned guy in bed with a beautiful blonde. The guy awakens with a shriek. The blonde asks him what's wrong.

"I dreamed that I died," the man says.

    "That's terrible, James,". [...]

And you're off and running on the reboot with Nolan. Wow. WOW!

    Marvelous! That hit the spot.

It would be amazing if at the end of Daniel Craig's last James Bond film (if he is confirmed), it plays the James Bond theme in its entirety like in the Casino Royale credits.

Thanks @Thunderball007 and @jake24. It's one of my favorite arrangements of the Bond theme. I also made a Spectre gunbarrel using it.

What are the chances of hearing a new version of John Barry's 007 theme in the next Bond film or beyond?

The 007 theme last heard in MOONRAKER.

    @Murdock

    Sweet!

I tried my hand at adding the 007 theme in Spectre.

Would love it in the next Bond film with Daniel Craig.

Two more years, return of P&W, and people are excited?
If we hear of a new actor I'll get quite excited. I'm personally not that worried about P&W, because I'm sure there will eventually be some scribe tweaking their initial script depending on the director choice. They're probably on board because they know the basics.

    More than 2 years.
It's not like they have cured cancer...........It's just another P&W Bond

I am super excited. Wishing for Daniel Craig confirmation soon.

Martin Campbell or David Arnold would be icing on the cake. :p

I agree with this. Also, if I recall, most of the BS in SP came from Logan and Mendes, not P&W. I kind of give them credit for polishing that turd as much as they were able to.

I am perfectly fine with Purvis & Wade.

They co-wrote Johnny English, as well. Similar to James Bond, and hilarious.

Very happy to hear the news about a new Bond film and that Daniel Craig is coming back! (if the report about him is true). Now, even more than the director (though I admit that's important), for me it's all about the story. So I have some mixed emotions about the news that Purvis and Wade will write the script. On the one hand, yes they have Bond experience, and they wrote many great scenes in the films. But on the other hand, can they top themselves? I admit I've wanted to see if new writers can improve the stories and dialogue. Will the story include Blofeld, or a new evil opponent? I could stand to see Mr. Hinx again--he and Craig have good tension between them. Then again, maybe almost any big hulking guy could.

I think it's just exciting we are finally getting big news. P&W announcement I'm meh about, but who knows; if tweaked right, we could get another CR!

Wow. Love it! The 007 theme goes really well with the action and all of it.

Would love it in the next Bond film with Daniel Craig.

My wish: have Jimmy Page on the next soundtrack, playing the theme. As many know, Page played on the GF soundtrack as an orchestra musician. It would be really cool to have him come back.

Well, we can all sit back, light up a Cuban and breath a sigh of relief. Bond will return! LOL. About 2 years and 3 months in counting... Broccoli is loyal and loves Craig and is willing to wait for him (I think). Eon busy themselves with other projects while waiting for Craig to finish his projects. I'm really not sure if BB is interested in anyone but Craig at the moment but who knows...

I'd be very happy to have Nolan helm this.

In terms of the quality of this product...only time will tell. Eon have been too inconsistent post the Dalton era so I for one never like to get my hopes up.

Campbell for Craig's curtain call then roll the dice on Nolan and a new 007.

    Yeah, I'm up for Campbell.

You know, as I've said before, regarding P & W, they understand Fleming and can write good updated Flemingsque stories. It's the dialogue they have trouble with. Their humor is often rubbish. Dialogue polishing from a 3rd party is what is required and I hope that they do this should it yet again be required. I don't think people should be that concerned about P & W. It's the director they should be concerned about and what Eon think is a good idea or not in terms of the directors' plans.

Campbells' words before Casino Royale went into production were perhaps the best I've ever heard in the cinematic world of Bond: " gone are the one line clunkers" or something like that. Having P & W write a good updated version of Fleming's CR, Haggis polishing the script and Campbell helm the film was an outstanding decision. The finished product of Fleming's wonderful book could have been very different.
