All of the above - you have stated some of my fav moments.
I'll add in TND , when cornered by the menacing helicopter, Wai Lin says to Bond, "Trapped" and Pierce says, "Never" in the coolest way (and you could see Bond was calculating what to do at the same time). Love it!

Also, with Vesper in the shower as she is in shock after the bloody staircase fight and killing, Bond just quietly joins her, puts her fingers in his mouth (because she cannot get the image of blood off her mind), and asks simply, "Is that better?" she nods (all of which show his presence of mind, caring, and chivalry). I thought that scene was touching and still very Bond.

The end of the GF PTS is cool for sure. Since the actress playing the dancer he goes to also played Kerim's lover in FRWL I like to pretend they are one in the same and that Bond went at the end of his mission to console her after Kerim's death. /:)

One of the best moments in the film series.

Yes, that may be the best scene in the film. The penny drops for both M and the audience that it hasnt been about revenge - he was doing his duty all along. Craig has got some great last scenes. Lets hope they have a good one for Skyfall.

Probably the best scene in QoS. And bonus points for the movie *not* ending on water.

So, you make up your own extended endings, too? You are not alone. ;)

I just like to think that Kerim's lover fled to be a dancer and hide from those who tried to kill him in FRWL, and Bond knew the location and expressly picked the mission in GF's PTS just to get near her.

"She's waiting for you!!" (turns the lever, impaling Renard)

(stabs Grishka with his own knife) "That was for 009!"

"You left this with, Ferrara, I believe." (kicks Locque's car down the cliff)

"I may have some breaking news for you, Elliot. (activates the Sea Drill) You forgot the first rule, of mass media, Elliot! (punches him across the face) GIVE THE PEOPLE WHAT THEY WANT!!!"

(In response to Scaramanga's insult) "When I kill, it's on specific orders from my government."

    "He got the boot."

    "Compliments of Sharkey!" (spears Clive)

I liked the teaser in The World Is Not Enough when Bond starts off in Bilbao and chaos ensues, and then that outstanding chase on the Thames in London, even if it did have a silly ending, it was all just so modern day Bond like, I was quite impressed

Dalton on the Wavekrest for some reason when he interrogates Lamora, so professionally done..

Discussion with Tanner and M at MI6 headquarters when they discuss Goldeneye

'Just keeping the British End Up', Moore and Bach (what are you doing), end of TSWLM

Moore deactivates the bomb in Octopussy

We first get to meet Bond on the big screen with the Connery introduction 1962, so cool and composed etc, and the immortal line 'Bond - James Bond'

OP may not be my favourite Bond film but that moment when Bond rolls Kamal Khan's loaded dice in the hotel casino and without breaking eye contact says to him "Double six, well fancy that", has James Bond ever looked so cool!

Yeah, "complements of sharky" is a favourite.

And the squeaky wheel in goldeneye.

Great thread! There are so many!
Casino Royale- The free-running chase. When Bond jumps from the second crane to the building and falls down to the ground,(at this moment I honestly he was out and unconscious, and the terrorist has escaped) and he looks where Mollaka(Sebestian Foucan) is going and gives that jerk with his face and gets back up 'like a boss!'. THAT'S MY BOY!!

Another one's when Vesper Lynd comes to Bond in the train,''I'm the money..'' and Bond replies,''every penny of it..!'' I laughed and it was awesome!

When Bond is looking in the mirror after wearing the 'Latter Dinner Jacket' and Vesper laughs at him, he looks at her and then looks back in the mirror like she doesn't exist! AWESOME!!

The final sequence, when the terrorists see Bond and hold Vesper and shout,''I'll kill her!'' Bond says,''Allow me..''. Superb. THAT'S MY BOY!

TWINE- Bond is trapped in the banker's office. He becomes resourceful and uses the curtain ropes to jump out of the window. When he lands, a couple of people are staring at him. The reaction Brosnan gives then is awesome.

Bond after he brings the money, meets King and then sits for a drink with M. Suddenly he feels somethings is not right. He looks at his hand which has a chemical reaction on his hand due to the drink and that explosive, M asks if there's something wrong. Suddenly he runs telling M,''King... The money..'' M calls moneypenny to stop the king. That whole sequence gave me Goosebumps right to the moment when Bond gets in Q's boat and pops out of the MI6 HQ! Awesome!

There are many more. But I think these are the best ones.

    "Not from where I'm standing."
"Since you are here, would you mind giving me something to put on?"
*Bond hands her a pair of slippers and sits down to watch her get out of the bath*

i can never get over the way Volpe has positioned herself - chest down - in that bath - looks bloody stupid

i understand WHY - its because we'd have total tittie action if she was lying like a normal person in the bath...

but still - they could have figured out some foreground coverage (like they did for the golden girl in goldfinger..

also - just becuase TLD has been mentioned yet

the whole PRC - "here - hang on your dead!!"

the exchange with Saunders - "stuff my orders.."

The DBS - "I had a few optional extras installed"

all 3 sequences utter classics worthy of thinking "that's my boy"

    :-h
  • I have to say that closing scene in Casino Royale is IMHO the best scene in any Bond film...nay any film ever. I must have watched it about 500,000 times but everytime I think of it (even as I type) I get chills down my spine.

In FRWL where Bond gets his choice of the two gypsy girls. Now, apparently there has never been a Ménage à trois in the Bond films, but at the end of the scene it seems like the three are going to, well...you know. Anyone else see this?

    Anyway, THAT'S MY BOOOOOOOOOOOOOY!

In quantum where bond evades the mi6 agents by casually hopping over the balcony .
This is so bondish it's untrue , it's classic bond as its cheeky, calm and collected and brilliantly executed.
Hats off to who ever dreamt up that scene.

In CR where Bond manages to secure the little bomb, attach it to Carlos, and crack a smile as he watches Carlos blow himself to smithereens, all in the company of Miami police.

    THAT'S. MY. BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOY!

I'm not sure if its my favourite Bond moment but its one that definitely sticks out - especially after watching MR yesterday.

    (Goodhead snogs Bond)

    "What was that for?

    "For saving my life"

"Remind me to do it more often" (continues to kiss Goodhead)

    Classic Roger Moore

    Another controversial one from DAD:

Chang: "Being busy have we Mr Bond?"

Bond (with a smile): Just surviving Mr Chang...just surviving"

    Finally there's also:

    "Good evening Mr Bond"

    "Good evening Miss Lynd"

    Simple but perfectly delivered

In the scene on the boat in FRWL where M and everyone at MI6 are listening to the Lektor's description.

Tatiana: The mechanism is... Oh James, James... Will you make love to me all the time in England?
James Bond: *Day and night. Go on about the mechanism.

    *THAT IS SOOOO MY BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOY!

Bond: It used to be a convincing act, Rosie. It's
    wearing a little thin now.

Rosie: It's not an act. It's...

    Bond: Make your choice.

    George Martin's music kick's in...

I second that one! It's like eating the grape in Thunderball before he escapes.

Bond going into the elevator, beating the sh*t out of the guards, and kicking the leg back in as the door closes.

    THAT'S MY BOY!

Elevator doors open, Bond standing on the edges of the collapsing floor.
"you did want me to drop in, did you?"

    THAT'S MY BOY!

Ok, so it's Saunders opertation, with Bond being there simply for the "assassination", but he ends up dumping the gun in Saunders' hands and taking control of the defection.

That sene really shows of the experience that Dalton's (veteran) Bond has.

one scene which people here havent mentioned:

    GE:

    "For England James?"
    "No For Me!"
    *sends Treveylan to his death"

a moment which cements Brosnan as one of the best bonds ever

I also quite like the exchange:

"Lucky I'm on the outside then"

"well it seems you've become useful again"

Humm...(bond tune begins to kick in). Maybe it's time you let me get on with my job".

Looking fed up but just wanting to carry on with his duty. That's where I can say "he's Bond".
  • One I love!

"What the hell do you want? I don't need a goddamn wheelie chair!"

That really was a great scene @licencetoforum, though imagine if instead of the dead henchman falling out of the tree Drax's orbital space station suddenly came crashing to the ground behind them...now that would be really cool, even by Roger Moore standards!

(Trevelyan searches for his AK-47, Bond's shoe pops out and steps on it)
Trevelyan: "Why can't you just be a good boy and DIE?!"
Bond: "You first....(looks at Xenia)...you, second."

    THAT'S MY BOY!!
