DB5 confusion!

Okay so in Casino Royale Bond wins a DB5 via a poker match right?
So in Skyfall I thought it was the same DB5 that he won but I was wrong...
The one in CR has an American styled left side driving..

The Skyfall car seems to be a completely
different DB5! It's steering wheel is on the right side, it has an ejector seat and machine guns..
Obviously it's a different vehicle isn't it? Any ideas to what happened?

    My theory is that it's the same one. I never really noticed the steering column switched.

    My Theory - It's the same DB5, Bond exports it to the UK and hands it over to Q Branch to adjust the steering to better fit British roads, and Q Branch added some optional extras during this time.

    Theory shmeory. It was supposed to be the CR DB5 in the script, but Mendes decided to opt for the GF DB5 for fun. That's the explanation. No doubt it'll be back in SP and retconned to cover up why he made such a ridiculous decision.

    I don't think it'll be back in SP seeing as we've got the DB10.

    To be fair. Skyfall takes place six years after Casino Royale/Quantum of Solace. Bond could have done whatever he wanted with it in that time.


    EDIT, Nevermind, I have the answer to DB5 right here from an amazing source. ;)

    Not that I'm having a midlife crisis or anything but I decided to soup up the DB5. Took it into Q Branch where they made it right-hand drive and fitted revolving number plates and machine guns like in a film I saw once, then they stuck in an ejector seat for LOLs. Those guys!"

    Of course this isn't real of course. Just a fun review of Skyfall.
