    All true comments. But isn't Sanchez's ownership and whipping of Lupe adult. Isn't his murder of Crest and maiming of Lighter adult?

    Violent, yes. No doubt, up to that point it was the most violent. Perhaps QoS is more so (Slate killing was pretty violent).

    When I answered the question initially posed, I focused on the plot and not necessarily the violence. By that measure FRWL, CR, LALD, QoS or even FYEO can be considered more or comparably adult.

    If the question was "LTK- is it really more violent than the rest?" then probably yes except for maybe QoS.

    FRWL and to a lesser extent FYEO have a classier feel to them. Kill's violent but it lacks a certain elegance.

    In terms of the most "adult" I agree about FRWL (Dalton has said that's his favourite Bond film incidentally).

    Yes, but no more so than a 40-50 something mentor lusting after a teenage girl. Or a lesbian villain lusting making veiled erotic passes at a woman she will set up as a honey trap... especially in a story set in the 60s. LTK is adult in comparison to most of the Moore era, or the perception we have of it.

    When you all say "adult," are you talking about graphic content, or how mature the film is? In the case of the former it is absolutely true, but for the latter, it has to be DN or FRWL.

    I have to disagree on that. Kristatos' creepy desire for Bibi makes her presence in the movie far more adult than it could have been. She is basically Kristatos's Lolita. And he is not Humbert Humbert, he is downright Clarence Quilty! yes, she is a carefree, naive, overly enthusiastic and sexually curious teenager, but that is the point.

    So yes, I would agree that FYEO is actually very much adult, even in some of its seemingly lighter elements. Same goes with the early Connery movies, especially FRWL, which is maybe the most adult of all Bond movies, more so I dare say than LTK. All three movies are more adult in their depiction and use of violence, all three are far more adult in their treatment of sexuality. But if I had to choose which one is the most adult, I would pick up FRWL.

    So true. And this one of the primary reasons why FYEO is a frustrating viewing experience for me. There is so much dark, deep material there that the film failed to capitalize on--or what is there gets washed away by the lighter elements. But there I go again: criticizing a film because of its potential as opposed to what it actually is.

    I think LTK has the best 'shaken not stirred' line of the series with Dalton's perfect delivery and that steely glare he gives off. When I think of Dalton's bond I always think of that scene in the casino with the slicked back hair and severe expression on his face.

    The version I saw the other week on ITV was heavily cut, and it is rated 15. It's not majorly adult, but it has more adult themes than a lot of the other Bond films.

    Forgot about that one ...always remember Craig's which technically isn't even the line lol.

    Too bad Dalton had the two worse deliveries of the Bond...James Bond line in the series.

    That's so true. The stern look he has in the casino (bad hair and all) is pretty iconic as far as his portrayal goes.
