I've been searching sources and attempting to gather connections of one piece of background music played with saxophone during the very first casino scene in which Bond appears and wears his X-Ray glasses, which occurs up until the subdue of the bald guard in dark grey suit. I wonder, if anyone of you, has any idea what was that music? I couldn't find it on the expanded soundtrack labels, nor can I identify it, either. Your help will be much appreciated, thank you.

This would probably fit better in the Questions thread or one of the music threads.

No, the Casino track isn't what I was referring to. That one plays by the time Elektra arrives. The piece I was referring to is the first piece where Bond is observing and scanning the room with his goggles, there's a saxophone that plays in the background. Here, I recorded the sound from the film. This should be a good source.

I've asked David Arnold himself on Twitter.

I'll keep trying if I think about it, in the meantime you can too: @DavidGArnold

    Oh, that'd be a dream!

I wish they let Arnold write the theme song (since I doubt Newman will), he did a marvelous job with Surrender, TWINE and You Know My Name.

He replied to me on twitter. He said it was just something he whipped up for background at the casino, and it's not any part of the soundtrack. I guess your best bet is to try andd recreate it.

I also told him I look forward to the day he returns.

Thanks, JWESTBROOK. I really appreciate your help. I hope David someday releases that track on iTunes so it can be acquirable. I could've arranged for someone to recreate it but we don't know the full musical notes.

And I also hope David Arnold returns to the Bond films.

Is it an instrumental version of 'Only Myself to Blame' which was to originally go over the end credits - trying to get the two in my head! Both are quite melancholy, I think they might be the same.
