    I thought Blofeld was transsexual?

Just one little film, and the reputation clings!

I hear this is the basis of P&W's first treatment for B25. Bond wants revenge for Franz taking his pussy when they were kids.

Yes, and would't that be great character motivation right there, Wiz? ;)

Probably best not to even joke about it. Nothing would surprise me any more.

Everyone loved Skyfall and how it was all personal, so P&W just wanted to give the people what they wanted.

So this new movie can have 'pussy' in the title, that's a given.

When Bond 25 comes out in 2022, to commemorate the 60th anniversary: DR PUSSYFINGER.

@Thunderfinger, if that's not the official title of 'Bond 25,' then I'm not watching it.

Dr No is one of my favourite films. I've seen it over 100 times. So how is it, exactly, that it has taken until today for me to notice that Miss Trench isn't playing golf with real golf balls? Explain that one!

They're practice balls, same size, plastic with holes. Almost every golfer would have some of these.

Watching SP yesterday, I had noticed how fast the days go by in that film. From Bond and Madeleine arriving in Tangiers to them waiting at the train station alone, we have scenes in 3 different days.

Are they not those airflow balls? That you can practice with and they don't go far?

If yours are plastic with holes in them, you might want to visit a doctor...

btw thanks for the info @Lancaster007 (I thought there were only two airworthy at the moment ;-) )

Ok folks, let's keep this on topic please.
Haven't had to tidy too many threads lately, and personally I'd like to keep it that way.
    Cheers.

I only noticed this on repeat viewings, but in LALD when Bond is on the crocodile
Island. With Tee Hee explaining how you'd go about killing a crocodile. When he
Mentions a pen, you can see Roger reach up with his had to gently pat his jacket
Pocket, to see if he has one :)) a brilliant comic touch from Sir Roger.

And see the slight dissapointment on his face when he realises he hasn't any.

Did anyone else notice how often Bond's nose seems to whistle in SPECTRE? It's on constantly.... I wonder if it means something Craig and Mendes were doing together as symobolism. But, anyways I just canoot quote certain lines from the film wihtout adding in that distinctive nose whistle.

Never noticed this (see image) in GoldenEye before today.

Edit: it would seem that the 1920x1080 image can't be natively seen in this forum; so to see the original image, please 'right-click' on the smaller image, below, and choose 'view image' (or your browser's equivalent).

Skyfall came out in the year of the dragon (2012), which was also a "Water Dragon" year.

Is this the reason for the fireworks in Macau? A "new year" celebration?

Certainly, the dragon (and water dragon) imagery is thick throughout the casino scene.

I think the dragon/fire-breathing imagery also recalls the visual comparisons the film was making between the beast chimera and Severine (like her blowing smoke from her cigarette in the casino). In that scene she very much feels like a dangerous, dragon like being, with those sharp claw like fingernails and blackened eyes. Bond is like the gallant knight entering a fortress/castle of the beast to get at what he needs. Add to that the fact that Severine's boat is called the Chimera, and there you have it.

Something I just noticed: when Thunderball's title sequence fades back into the film proper, the colours in the water resemble the French flag, matching the scene's location (Paris). Check it out: https://s4.postimg.io/bafoatyfh/Thunderball_039.jpg
