OHMSS is a strange film in that respect. It is supposed to be entering a new era, introducing a new Bond, yet seems to be pining for Connery. Even Lazenby doesn't seem up for it - lamenting he doesn't seem as attractive to women as Connery and promptly sets about getting a girlfriend and going off on holiday, instead as getting on with the secret agent action. The film is a third over before he gets his arse into gear
It was the first actor change in the Bond film series, y'see.
Yes, I noticed that too. Apparently he was a real Sheriff too.
Guy Hamilton must've loved reusing actors in similar bit roles... he used the same actor (Marc Lawrence) as thug/killer in both DAF and TMWTGG
Oh my, that was so noticeable at the recent cinema showing.
if the monitory unit being initially put at stake in the game by Le Chiffre is US Dollars, then Bond would (with the government's money) would have to enter in with US Dollars....... not really a mistake.
I know, but I still find it strange that they wouldn't naturally think in terms of pounds.
see it this way: pound for pound she's top dollar!
At least one person falls to their death in each of the John Glen films.
"What makes you think it's my first time?"
Yeah, I mean, that summer of 65...
James Bond does it everywhere. Thunderball... It just gets worse (or better, you never know). :D
Only joking, guys.
