    In CR (2006)'s title-sequence after two 0s are shot into a playing card and it shows "007" on an old pc screen, the 'pixels' are made up of clubs (card suit).

    Probably something that everyone has noticed, but one of the little moments I love in From Russia with Love happens on the train after Bond shows Tatiana their new passports for travel. He leaves her to look at the documents and her new identity (Caroline Somerset) while he and Kerim go and have a talk. As the two men leave, you can see Tatiana adorably leaning on the door jam between compartments, mouthing her new name over and over again because she loves the sound of it. It's a great little character detail that shows her enamored with western things and a new, freer life.

    Yes I like that as well,and its exactly that : her sudden realisation that she really is on her way to the West and freedom,and the name shows that.

    Just another moment that makes FRWL the excellent film that it is.

    I love the chemistry that Connery and Bianchi have in that movie. The entire train sequence when she's getting ready is golden.

    From the moment they board the train until the moment they leave,it has to be one of the best sequences in the whole series.

    Tatiana is so, so endearing and sweet. I love it when she bites on that neck ribbon of hers, or uses her hair to give herself a mustache. Bianchi gave her such a great sense of personality, and she feels like a real woman because of it. Barbara Jefford's dubbing also gave so much life and sweetness to the character, perfectly voicing every scene.

    I think Sean has the best chemistry with Daniela than he did with any of his other Bond girls, and it really shows in how the pair get on.

    I also hold that the moment Bond escapes the consulate and boards the Orient Express with Grant in tow, no other section of any Bond film matches what it delivers. There's so many little moments where Bond and Grant play their own chess game and counter each other, and times where Bond is getting red flags popping in his head. It's probably my favorite moment of Sean's tenure. His smoldering rage when he finds Kerim dead, and the look of disgust and heathen vengeance when he tears open the train door and looks at Tatiana, thinking she's implicated. And the stuff with Shaw is just legendary. One of the most chilling moments in Bond history is when Grant holds up the sex tape and gives that smile of his. :-S

    I still hold it as the sole perfect Bond film, or as perfect as a Bond film can be. Other movies come close, but FRWL is just expert from every angle.

    Well said, Grant is my favourite villain, Tatiana my favourite bond girl and Connery gives the best bond performance of the series imo. He has great swagger in TB and GF but he is so deadly and efficient in FRWL and has, as you said, his best chemistry with a bond girl in Daniela Bianchi.

    When watching CR last night, I noticed that Vesper's face appears momentarily as the face of the Queen of Hearts during Kleinman's outstanding title sequence, ironically mirrored by the Queen of Spades card. I think she was the only character where this happens, but I could be wrong.

    She is also the only woman to appear in that Title Sequence. That's is unique in the franchise.

    Madeleine and Lucia are also in the SPECTRE titles.

    I think @Birdleson was referring only to CR's title sequence. Vesper is the sole woman in the sequence.

    The point of it though was that the music plays "things are not what they seem." They flash vespers face up there. A bit of foreshadowing
