Rank the Barbara Broccolli/Michael Wilson Bond films

Yes Albert R. Broccoli received producing credit for Goldeneye but it was more a sign of respect. He was already in poor health when Goldeneye started filming and didn't do much publicity. In reality Barbara Broccoli and Michael Wilson really produced it. "Cubby" had even less to do with TND and finally passed away before it was released. Since then the Bond series has been completely helmed by Barbara Broccoli and Michael Wilson. With the exception of Casino Royale, which was spectacular, the results haven't been too great. There have been 6 films so far with 2 different actors playing the legendary spy. Let's rank them. Mine is pretty simple.

1) Casino Royale
2) Quantum of Solace
3) Goldeneye
4) Tomorrow Never Dies
5) The World is not Enough
6) Die Another Day

    Don't worry, these are the bottom 6 films in my overall rankings too. I'm not in love with the Brozzer era either. Ranking the Brozzer films IMO is just splitting hairs. They are a body of work. However QoS is a whole lot worse than CR.

    002) 1st 2/3 of DAD
    003) 1st 1/2 of TND
    004) 1st 1/4 of GE
    005) 2nd 1/2 of TND
    006) Last 3/4 of GE
    007) Last 1/3 of DAD
    008) TWINE
    009) QOS

    If GE had Dalton's Bond instead of Brosnan's Bond in the lead, it would probably be my number 002.

    CR may get better critical reviews but for my own Bond viewing enjoyment, the two Craig films have always languished at the bottom of the heap.

    I think. I'm not sure as I really need to rewatch them, I've forgotten so much of GoldenEye and Casino Royale so they may be the other way round.

    CR keeps going down in my rankings with each passing day...but it's still the best of the Broccoli/Wilson heap.

    GoldenEye (Brilliant from start to finish)
    Casino Royale (Was my all time favourite movie, but with many viewings the over-drawn casino scenes really are letting it down)
    Quantum of Solace (Not the best, but definately not the worst)
    The World is Not Enough (I enjoy it, nothing other than Richards that brings it down)
    Tomorrow Never Dies (Great car, some great action sequences, but not my favourite)
