I truly hope this is not true, but I heard over 2 years ago that the script was in trouble and needed reworking at the 2 years mark before filming shouldn't be a problem but then MGM had concerns about the third act late last year. All I hope is that Daniel Craig has been left alone to just act and not had to go back to writing scenes as he did in Quantum. The producers should have more control on this, This would never happen in Cubby's time as for bringing Neal Purvis and Robert Wade back I always thought that was a mistake. The 4 Bonds that Brosnan played the role only 1 was half good being Goldeneye the rest were written by Wade and Purvis and were below par. Then we got to Casino Royale Paul Haggis polished that screenplay, Quantaum was a disaster and most of the work on Skyfall John Logan stepped in to polish and he is an awesome writer just look at his body of work on the stage and TV. The pressure is on to top Skyfall, to me that is a Director/Producer pressure and they shouldn't do that make a stand alone picture without the pressure. Skyfall is hard to beat it is such a good film most directors never see a film surpass the 1 Billion mark at the box office Sam Mendes should be proud he did it once and not let greed consume his thoughts to try and do it again. We will find out in November I just hope its good and the concerns where ironed out lets face it all Bond movies make money only because all the die hard fans go and see every film multiple times then buy the DVD.
