Oh dear, that is unfortunate. I've seen similar things happen in the past and it often ends with someone having to close their account.
If something is not supposed to be shared, then either don't share it. Or let all know that you don't want it shared. The thing is, all too often members of any forum will comment on their right of freedom of speech.
As I've said before, pinch of salt old chap.
It’s worth pointing out where it came from/how it snowballed, but I do kind of agree, there’s no reason to be abrasive.
Yeah, calling it 'bull****' when you have no idea where it originally came from is just unnecessary, and Page is stirring people up to believe that the forum poster made it up himself in order to start a rumour. It's fine to say which forum it came from, some people on this thread have said the same, but he clearly didn't want it go any further and he's a long-standing member of that (quite quiet) forum with friends there like you or me- not just someone who's shown up just to start nonsense lies. Maybe you can call that naive, he's said the same about it himself, but he didn't want this and he's upset by it. Just a bit of respect for fellow fans, that's all.
The original poster on another forum has been left red faced it would appear. Why that has anything to do with MI6 posting it, or why this has become so out of line.
2025, 2026 or 2027?
It's true, but also I wouldn't accuse someone I don't know of speaking 'bull****' in the street. And some bits of the internet are different to others: Twitter and Reddit are main roads, a Bond forum is more like a little side street.
I still say 2025. Three most likely, in this order, in my opinion:
1. Late 2025
2. Summer 2026
3. Late 2026
And in my opinion, if there is no announcement by the end of March 2024, then we can forget about Bond 26 being released in 2025.
Yes, that would make sense to me. They really need to get all their ducks in a row for the first post-Craig Bond film. But how do you top a film which killed Bond?
Then you have the likes of cube shaped cars, and the design which reminds you of the Japanese city at night.
It's very high tech, futuristic.
Edit: James Bond is already 100 years in that dream of mine.
That and remember they could have pushed back CASINO ROYALE to 2007 just to market the film in “the year of 007”. That would have been a fun marketing gimmick, but it clearly wasn’t that important to them and that’s fine.
That would mean writing a script, finding a director + casting the new Bond actor and being ready to begin filming all in the space of the next 14 months. That sounds a bit tight to me, doable but tight.
The most likely date is probably July 2026 if its Nolan, if not it'll be November 2026, or 2027 if they want the extra bump from the anniversary year.
I'll remind you the production owes you as a fan nothing. Each new picture is a new project to get people onboard all over again, and that will be the approach especially this time. The odds they try something new and different are higher than them reverting to the production process of the 90s, where we got lame directors because producers refused to wait for talent, and instead we got, well, TWINE and DAD.
I'd rather 2026 and something interesting to watch. Not 2025 made by the first people they got to say yes to their schedule.

A mixed bag of opinions, but they aren't exactly wrong.
From my What If post:
I think PWB will have a say going forward if she isn't busy with her own projects. Especially now she has no future in the Indiana Jones world. Maybe she could write an Indiana Jones novel. I would be OK with her being in both worlds, perhaps writing novels for both (Indy needs a book series again). Also, I think that PWB could play either Charmian Bond, May, or even M in the future. I think her days as Moneypenny are gone.
Also, considering how many people have criticized the writing of Blofeld a thought occurred to me. I think many bigger named directors that are also fans of the series will want to portray the character. However, this is because they know that they can truly do the character better. Goldfinger probably isn't looked at in this way. Blofeld should always be a threat. EON will probably try multi story arcs again, Blofeld can be built up with planning a bit better.
HOWEVER, 2027 also marks the 21st anniversary of CASINO ROYALE. Therefore I firmly believe Eon will delay B26 at that time and chose to celebrate Daniel Craig's acheivements in the role instead.
Writing the script for B26 will probably commence in 2028 or 2029..
