Other than those two inconsequential blind spots, Nolan’s perfect!
especially if he is directing
The main thing Campbell liked about Cavill over Craig back then was that Cavill was an unknown.
Regardless of the time frame, I stand by the idea that if Craig is not part of the production team, which I would not look forward to, of the next Bond film that Broccoli will hand off the actual producing duties to someone else from EON. Personally, I would not have a problem with that. The Craig films are Barbara's legacy Bond films. [/quote]
Silly me, Though I did see Barbara stepping away, I did not see the creative reigns being completely turned over to Amazon.
Spielberg is a big Bond fan.
The closest scenario I remember was Entertainment Tonight, and one other show, (Hard Copy, maybe) having 1-900 polls on who should play Bond after Dalton. Pierce pretty won by a landslide as the other actors were Liam Neeson, Mel Gibson and Hugh Grant.
I hope they still do cryptic clapperboard instagram posts.
They don't even know what Twitter is.
Campbell was asked about a week or so ago if he thought any of the previous candidates should be considered or cast, and this was his response: He didn’t seem to make any exceptions, so it sounds like he might consider Cavill “too old” now to become Bond.
And he’d be right. If Cavill were to start making Bond films in 2027 he would already be 44, and depending on the speed Amazon cranks these films out he’d already be 50 by his third or fourth film.
"West Side Story" is among the most energetic big budget Hollywood movies in recent memory. He didn't do Indy5 because he had other projects he wanted to do and didn't want to do it without Lucas being around.
I'd ride OHMSS the theme park ride.
