Hello MI6! I've been a Bond fan all my life (even if I'm 15) and I am, and always wil be, hooked for life. I have an unusual taste in Bond films, with A View to a Kill currently being second on my list (I have my reasons). However, my best Bond film has got to be the glorious On Her Majesty's Secret Service (I have my reasons).

I will always believe that there is never truly a bad Bond film, all of them having fine qualities about them. However, the Bond film that happens to be bottom of my list would have to be Die Another Day.

I am currently reading the Fleming novels (having read 6 so far) and I like to focus on the films and novels within the Bond franchise. I am not a big video games fan, so Ic an say that I have never played a Bond video game.

I like to 'mix' my passion for art and Bond together, so I am currently drawing all of the film posters (having done Octopussy, For Your Eyes Only, A View to a Kill, Live and Let Die, The Living Daylights, From Russia With Love and The Man With the Golden Gun).

I will start discussions on my favourite aspects of the film (such as Bond girls, villains etc.) throughtout my time on this website.

Welcome indeed! I've only ever been a member of the new MI6 myself - I used to be a CBn boy.
  • Hello MI6 Community!

I am a big fan of James Bond since childhood (I am middle aged now)and I am from the Netherlands. First film I saw is AVTAK (ahum). Favorite Bond for me is Connery and favorite film is TB. Worst Bond for me is Lazenby, but worst film is DAD.

I hope to have some nice discussions about the best film series ever!

Tsk, tsk. No one ever praises Bond's awesome car- as if it was invisible.

Hello one and all. Just joined after reading Dragonpol's suggestion on Twitter that disillusioned members of other forums should check this place out. So here I am.

    Jake

Only saw this now. Thank you for the mention, kind sir. Twitter recruiting for MI6 Community does indeed work, then! Great to have to here, @JakeDelToro!

Are you the sort of person who apologises in advance, before lighting his farts? ;-)

    No, certainly not.

I was responding to the suggestion that I may be an upper-class toff when in fact I am not - I'm not even English! I'm working class, yet conservative. Get your head around that one!

Cheers from life long fan since I snuck in the theater to see For Your Eyes Only. At the time that movie wasn't for my eyes yet according to my folks ;)
