Apparently this is a real thing and, as a gamer, I'm shocked I haven't heard about it until now. ESPN has set up an actual tournament that is basically The World Cup or Super Bowl of the gaming world. Personally I think it's awesome and it's no different from watching/playing chess, poker, fishing, or even golf (except to me it would be more entertaining).

Of course with the good comes the a-holes to sh!t all over it.

At first I was a little pissed at what he said, then I was able to smile at it, but really he has no idea what he's talking about and is about 15 years late to be original on that joke. I've never heard of this guy and don't really care to know much more about him but apparently he actively speaks out against competitive gaming. Honestly he sounds like a guy with a grudge against gamers for some reason or another.

Sometimes I watch StarCraft 2, as I'm a big fan of the game and play it often. Similarly to Chess and Poker, I don't consider it a sport. I'm a little on the fence with regards to Golf, but I do consider it a sport.
