Also, I'm getting a slightly comedic vibe from 'Big Match.'
'Big Match' is an action/comedy film, but the amount of action won't let you down, it's one chase/fight scene after the other. Think of it as 'Gamer' (the Gerard Butler film), but with a large dose of badass korean action.
This sunday will be a slow day, so I'm thinking that some asian badassery might be in order. But what? 'Man From Nowhere' paired with 'I Saw The Devil'? Or 'Bittersweet Life'? 'Oldboy' and 'The Chaser'? 'A Company Man' and 'The Good, the Bad, and the Weird'?
Can you guys pick 2 films for me?
I mean, these are f*cking brillant:
And then, you have this:
(fight at 3:00 mark)
How can you compete when asian directors can do stuff like this in their sleep?
Sorry for french dubbing, but go to 00:52 of that video

What the f*ck. These guys have no problem having a 16 years old character (played by a 15 years old actor) empty a magazine clip in the stomach of another person. And that's just 1 of about 20 guys he shoots, strangles, stabs, etc in the rest of the film.
This video showcases more of his skills (different trailer than I posted yesterday).
Hopefully you first saw it attached to the film and not out of context. Makes it that much better.
Our of context. Still impressive beyond belief. No cuts. It must have been a full week to shoot that with rehearsals & re-takes. I spotted one (JUST ONE) late reaction to a punch, and it wasn't bad at all.
Typed ALL of that, then looked up and noted what @DaltonCraig007 said. Beat me to it. :D
@doubleoego, @Creasy47
One of the most promising directors in recent years is back for his 3rd film! 8 years after 'The Chaser' and 6 years after 'The Yellow Sea', here is 'The Wailing':
I didn't understand a word because there's no subtitles in this trailer, but holy shit does it look good!!
Lee Byung-Hun joins South Korean crime/thriller film 'Master'. His recent crime/action film 'Inside Men' should hit the Blu Ray shelves soon.
