    Now that's more like it!

Last night's episode, "The Zygon Invasion" was an episode worthy of the classic series, which some old enemies and some old friends.

Loved it. Capaldi smashed it outta the park. Best episode of the series so far...

brilliant Doctor Who, but I was expecting them to lose Clara this time, but I like the curveball they threw by not doing that.

Losing Clara this season is going to be devastating I expect.

Very true. Will have to be a big story for her leaving....

Another great episode. Capaldi really is good. :)
  • It was a good episode. I liked the resolution in the end, I really wasn't expecting that.

Also, the Doctor must get his parachutes from the same place as Roger Moore. :))

Yeah, great episode and a great season so far. Upset that Clara's leaving…but companions come and companions go. Would like to see an alien companion next, someone like Leela.

Does anyone have any thoughts on when we may see the end of Coleman's reign as the Doctor's companion? The Zygon story, being the biggest and, in my opinion, the best story of the season seemed to have been an ideal time for her to have left. Coleman did say she'll be leaving sometime during this series but not when? It'll have to be a big story for her leaving; do people think she'll get to the end of the series or that it'll come sooner? The hints are there that it may not be long I think; at the end of a couple of episodes the Doctor looks at Clara pained, giving an indication that her time is definitely coming to an end. Should be interesting.

Haha, yes, I noticed the parachute too. Gave me a bit of a giggle....

Given what happened at the end of this week's episode, chances are that Clara will soon become
    a pile of dust

You might be right :-S I really liked the episode though, it was a typical Gatiss horror-ish story.

I hope not as we get a few more episodes.

I think the tv spot/trailer that's been shown may be a bit of a red herring. Everyone knows that Coleman is leaving, just not when. I think we'll see her in the first episode of the two-part finale and then she'll go.

Then again, I'm probably quite incorrect.

Wow, just wow! Although it was expected it was kind of shocking the same way, top marks for Capaldi and Coleman on their acting! This could have been a perfect episode if it wasn't for Maisie Williams, what an annoying character and terrible acting! I thought we were over with her character, I just hope they aren't thinking of making her a regular :(

Great episode, missing Clara already! That 'good cop, bad cop' moment was good, too.

And speaking of Clem So in the Lenny Rabin thread, just spotted him in Trap Street!

Well the cover of this months DWM features Clara dressed as a waitress in a 50's diner…and I don't recall seeing that yet!

That's quite correct, and inside the magazine we are told that
The Doctor arrives at a 50's diner s maybe that's where we get to see her again

Said diner is the same used in "The Impossible Astronaut". I ate there when I was in Cardiff a few weeks ago. And IMHO, she must be an echo (cf "The Name of the Doctor").
