If he can hold it together, then even if he doesn't get to 1237, I'm pretty confident some of the 200 or so unbound delegates will be encouraged by Priebus to put him over the top for party unity and to avoid voter revolt, but only if he holds it together and doesn't say anything crazy from now until July (perhaps a near impossibility).
Sanders's lack of experience and basic understanding of his own policy positions were exposed in a recent NYDN interview. He hasn't been pressed nearly enough, and so his policy positions--which are unrealistic at best--have gone unchecked.
'Did Bernie Sanders Botch An Interview With The Daily News? It’s Not That Simple.
The interview exposes as much about the media as it does about Bernie Sanders.'

I read this, too. It's called damage control. The article whines that Sanders was given a pop quiz. Sorry, but that doesn't cut it, as far as I'm concerned. Sanders reminds me of the kid running for school president, making ridiculous campaign promises with no substance behind it.
:-O
I hope none of you republicans here are suggesting this guy would be a good alternative to Cruz or Trump?
Are all of them just pathetic excuses for human beings?
Okay, cheap shot. I'll grant that. Let's put it this way: while I don't agree with his proposed policies, I at least don't think Kasich will cause WWIII before lunch time on his first day on the job. With Donnie & Teddy, it's pretty much a given that they will.
Never underestimate the US electorate. They elected George W. Bush twice!!! (Well once really)
I agree. I think Sanders' ideas are totally unrealistic and have no chance of being implemented. I'm fine with Hilary overall.
Unchecked Capitalism (Profit Unlimited, Inc.) will force a Socialistic solution. When wealth is finally & completely hoarded the bottom dwellers will have no disposable income. As things become more automated, that non-disposable income goes further down. No one will be able to buy goods & services.
Then will come the violent revolution. Capitalism will have cut its own throat.
Bernie's plan is not unrealistic, it's a basic survival map. It's NOT Socialism, it's Democratic Socialism.
If we wait for our Capitalism to OD, then it WILL be pure Socialism, and probably of the Fascist kind.
Then we'll be eating Soylent Green....
Tax the big boys, get the money flowing, enrich social services again, the rich will stay rich, and we can all live better. It's really just that simple. And in no way unrealistic.
