Its is probably the Xbox digital version of RDR from the Microsoft store, I don;t think the disk version has been upgraded though I can't be sure.

I hope it's not because of a health problem or anything else bad why he is stepping away, given he previously expressed he wanted to play the character until he died. I will sincerely miss his voice, as he is the original and definitive one for it. He's a huge part of my gaming memories and always will be!
Same here, he is truly an icon.
I don’t have one but the general consensus seems to be that it is a good piece of kit, which enjoys good software support from Valve, and that developers to take time and effort to optimise their games for it. Plus, having your entire steam library port over to it is a big bonus.
That's what I was thinking. I haven't had a handheld console since the PSP days but I've been wanting one. I have a desktop gaming PC but I rarely use it, so I figure getting to play games I've been itching to return to for years/decades for around $500, anywhere I want in the house, is a great selling point. Trying to save up and plot to get it for myself as a Christmas gift this year.
Finally, 47 comes to blighty in the WOA trilogy. I really liked this map, both in it's appearance and design. I also liked the added element of gathering the information.
1. Paris - 'The Showstopper' (Hitman)
2. Whittleton Creek - 'Another Life' (Hitman 2)
***3. Dartmoor - 'A Death In The Family' (Hitman 3)***
4. Sapienza - 'World Of Tomorrow' (Hitman)
5. Santa Fortuna 'Three-Headed Serpent' (Hitman 2)
6. Miami - 'The Finish Line' (Hitman 2)
7. Colorado - 'Freedom Fighters' (Hitman)
8. Hokkaido - 'Situs Inversus' (Hitman)
9. Hawke's Bay - 'Nightcall' (Hitman 2)
10. Dubai - 'On Top Of The World' (Hitman 3)
11. North Atlantic - 'Isle of Sgàil' (Hitman 2)
12. Mumbai - 'Chasing A Ghost' (Hitman 2)
13. Marrakesh - 'A Gilded Cage' (Hitman)
14. Bangkok - 'Club 27' (Hitman)
As for Dubai, I really, really like that map too. I do think it's a bit awkward to traverse - you're locked into some really linear paths when trying to get from Point A to Point B at times - but it's gorgeous and layered with a lot of danger the higher up you get. I love the penthouse area (but again, wish it was even bigger and more dangerous).
I think your ranking was two pages ago. That's the last time I posted mine. When I played Isle of Sgàil and On Top Of The World, I didn't post post about them at the time, and haven't played Hitman since, only playing Dartmoor yesterday.
Can you access the WOA through any of the 3, or does it have to be through Hitman 3?
Yeah I think since you get access to the first two with three, you either have to buy WOA outright or already own H3 to get access to it.
I suppose it would have to be H3, otherwise you could access the WOA for the cost of H1, which could probably be bought for around £10 now.
Pandora Tomorrow is my favourite, but the lighting in the first game was revolutionary at the time.
I see H3 on eBay for around $15-20 so I might pick it up. It's been a couple of years now since I last played any of them, would be a lot of fun getting to go through all the levels again. I've been looking for something to replay and fill the time before Alan Wake 2 releases later next month.
Alan Wake 2, another digital only game. I don't like where the industry is going, but it is heading that way, whether I like it or not.
10 years ago, I would've hated this decision and boycotted the game. Nowadays, I really don't care that much. Times change and I figure it'll get a physical release eventually but I've waited too long for this game to care now. I personally don't mind not having a physical collection anymore anyway but I do get that some out there are gonna miss out on what's shaping up to be an incredible sequel because it won't have a non-digital release.
I got the platinum. I hadn't played it for a while, so I started up a fresh save recently. None of the trophies were Hard (with a capital 'H'), but some required a little bit of work beforehand. 'Hitman' sounded like it would be a challenge (exfiltrate in under 1 minute after killing Igor Sekhov). As I said, I did some leg work to prepare (clear the bridge area of all enemy troops), and got it on my first attempt. It took me roughly 50 seconds to get from the tower directly inline of where Sekhov is, to the extraction point down by the water.
Have you tried going for the Hitman WOA trophies or no? They're all very basic and easy, though Sniper Assassin definitely takes some skill.
I think I can remember you saying that you had played Sniper Ghost Warrior 3, and we had similar feelings, it was ok, but there were some annoying issues such as getting stuck on bits of the scenery. The latest two games, Contracts 1 & 2, have evolved the series and are largely free of those issues.
As for Hitman WOA, I haven't gone out of my way, but I have picked up a few trophies along the way.
That was it, and yes, some glitches aside, I had fun overall (especially since I paid maybe $10 for it on sale). It sounds like the type of experience that was buggy as hell on release at a much higher price tag that wasn't justified.
I don't remember it being that bad, other that the persistent issue of the sticky scenery, which, as far as I can remember, was never fixed entirely. The original game in the series had some bad clipping issues, enemy troops able to shoot you through walls, but you couldn't do the same. I never played Ghost Warrior 2, it looked more of the same (very linear). Ghost Warrior 3 overhauled the series, Contracts overhauled the series again, and then Contracts 2 didn't so much as overhaul, but slightly modified the series.
Contracts 2 has REALLY long range kills, compared to the previous games, but the way the maps are designed, it's not in the way that you might expect.
That's even more enticing, as I'm guessing you have more obstacles and the like in your way and it forces you into some creative thinking.
Eh... yes and no. And it's not every map. Some are designed like the maps in Contracts, while others have a new style for Contracts 2. It forces you to change your rifle depending on which map you are playing.
