I'm sure you already know what you're doing, being distracted aside, but I saw someone post this flow chart the other day and saved it for myself for whenever I get around to the PS5 version of this. It's been a long time since I got the PS4 Plat so I'm bound to have forgotten most of this:

Thanks for that, very useful.
I also picked up the Tomb Raider Trilogy on PS3 today for £12, looking forward to revisiting Legend and Underworld after F4.
I've been wanting to check those out still too and I see they're now on sale on the PS Store. Might be the perfect time for me to do so.
I have had my eye on this game for years, but never pulled the trigger, because I heard bad things about it. Took the plunge and... it's actually not bad.
If you do go the ps2/ps3 route, get a Kaico HDMI Convertor*. I began with a Scart to HDMI convertor from another company. Made some games 'barely acceptable' to play on a HD TV, while others were unplayable. Since switching to the Kaico, I have noticed a BIG difference. At the end of the day, it is still 20 year old technology, but it does make it more possible to play ps2 games on modern tvs. I have also been playing Gun and Max Payne 2, amongst others, on my ps2.
This is the one i'm using:
All you'll need, is a HDMI cable which isn't included.
And man, I had a stupid amount of fun with Gun when it released. I can't count how many times I played it in full.
You sound like me, only with a PS5 instead of 2 & 3.
I'm with you there too. My primary gaming and focus is always on the PS5 but it's nice to jump back to the past every now and then with some older favorites. I do want to get a PS3 because it'd be nice to get some trophies for my profile on there. I don't have any logged on my current account that I've only had since I got the PS4.
I can't say that I have noticed any input lag. You won't need the adapter for the PS3, as it uses a HDMI cable. But definitely get one for the PS2.
Possibly the worst PS2 game i've played. Missions 1-3 are forced stealth, which isn't good, as the game has barely any stealth mechanics. Mission 4 is ridiculously quick, just ride the cable car up to the castle and don't die from gun fire coming from cable cars moving in the opposite direction. Mission 5 was half decent, no more stealth, just run 'n gun through the castle (this mission would have been even better with more objectives). Missions 6 & 7 were basically missions 2 & 3 in reverse, but with no more stealth and the added challenge of protecting the General.
On leave and the weather is a bit naff so decided to get my original Xbox One with Kinect out of storage to play some Kinect Sports Rivals (I now have 3 Xbox's connected to my TV), bowling is probably the best game its the one I tended to play the most.
i wish I had kept my Wii, table tennis and archery were great fun on that console, Goldeneye 007 was difficult though with the Wii controls... for me anyway.
Did the Institute and Brotherhood of Steel endings. Didnt care for either really. Basically as bad as each other. As they say… war… war never changes.
If Yakuza 0 could be summed up as an unstoppable force (kinda...) meeting an immovable object. Then Yakuza 1 is like a Shakespearean tragedy. Nishiki spirals down a dark path, as he claws his way up the ranks. Dammit Nishiki, you had 1 job to do.
After many stops and starts, I am determined to complete a playthough of this series (Yakuza 6 + the 2 Judgement games, I don't like what has been done to the series since).
On to Tibet next and some fun on the snow bike.
20 years have passed since the events of the first game. Jack is older, greying, more gruff but still a badass. His marriage to Angela has long since broken down, their child passed away and she blames Jack. But this time Jack isn't alone, as he has taken on a young streetwise protégé with attitude, Leeza X.
If made today, this would probably be written off as woke. We play as Leeza before we even play as Jack. Though this one lacks the satirical attitude of the original game, I think this one plays better.
Great game its probably been 20 years since I last completed this at least, the new graphics really have breathed new life into it.
Now I have unlocked the sun glasses and all outfits from the three games. I will play TR1 bonus level Unfinished Business then complete TR2 as right near the end in that game also.
I didn't know how bad the animosity that Crystal Dynamics have towards Core Design (and the original Tomb Raider games), until recently. I stumbled across a video and.... jesus. Crystal Dynamics are still taking shots and the Core Design era of Lara. Now I am definitely picking up the trilogy.

I couldn't imagine this game being made today.
I don't like to get into politics online though there are a large amount of og TR fans that are not happy with the direction of Lara. Personally I like the og interpretation of the character, this appears to undermine current new game developers plans.
I don't think it's politics, it seems like something deeper. They were spewing their hate towards the og era, even during the survivor trilogy. They don't have to like the og era, but to keep going on about it, when they are making their own Tomb Raider games...
My favourite Lara/Tomb Raider game is Legend, but I am looking forward to revisiting the original trilogy when it's released in September. It's been so long since I played those early games.
Yeah it does not create a good image especially when you are trying to promote a new product.
I was wrong about Legend when I started replaying the games, it is one of the best in the series.
The original 3 remastered are exceptional and quite difficult at times, I always play with the hints off and tank controls, some sections in the 2nd game really have had me puzzled for some time even though I completed the game on release... which is great.
I really hope they remaster the 4th game, if they do I will be very happy.
Lara needs to be doing this in the movies.
Now I can't help thinking about Alison Carrol as live action Lara.
Amazing woman.
The perfect blend of beauty and athleticism. This might be considered wrong to say in 2024, but I miss the days of the Lara publicity models.
I have had look on Steam at the Lara Croft art and cos players, Lara really is one of the greatest characters in games.
Some of the models who portrayed Lara are stunning.
A very shocking, bizarre, and cryptic announcement from Nintendo. I'm incredibly curious and dying to see more of this.
I like all three games of the survivor trilogy I struggle to pick a best, though despite some reviews I found Shadow of the Tomb Raider the most engrossing it really is a huge game in regards of scope which impressed me.
All three games I will revisit again and again over the years, I love the TR series from the OG to modern.
Edited: Just defeated the army at the chasm stronghold in TR2013 that was intense the soldiers were relentless.
