That's what I'm saying, it wouldn't be much fun being back in the early sixties for me, I wouldn't have been born for another 3 decades.
1995
1997
2006
2015
and now.
Just realised that approximately every 10 years the Bond franchise hits an high!
1987 TLD
1995 GE
2006 CR
2015 SP
in that case the next great Bond movie will be out in 2026 (Bond 27)
Bond 25 will probably be something good like TND or QOS and Bond 26 will probably be a boring dreary one like TWINE or SF.
You forgot 1977 and 1969! ;)
I listed only the Bond movies I experienced :) I was born in 1974 and TSWLM wasn't on my mother's short list of movies to show me ;)
Of course you are right nonetheless. 1969 and 1977 would be on that list as well :)
Seconded!
YES :D
It was universally liked back then ;)
:)) YES probably true
Of course, this is a time-bending post as it means more with each film that is produced & released... :-?
Personally, I was a Bondmaniac in the early 70's & again in the mid 90's.
Now I'm merely a rabid fan.
My thoughts exactly.
And they are available in all kinds of formats.
We had the best cinematic Bond (Connery), the best movies and the whole incarnation was relatively close to the literary Bond.
We were in Bond heaven. It was new, different and better. Never repeated.
