WARNING: This is quite long.

Basically, this my own version of what a 007 film franchise might be in an alternate timeline. The bulk of it was lifted from one of my old posts at Alternate History Discussion.com, and edited slightly. Now, some headcanons to be made light of...

• Cubby Broccoli and Harry Saltzman are still the producers.
• The Kevin McClory controversy and the Climax! episode of Casino Royale NEVER happen here.
• All movies stay faithful to the book, and never stray too far from the plot, and the weaker bits of the saga are added with new material, kind of like the comics.
• As a nice bonus, Ian Fleming plays cameo roles across the films as different characters! He even contributes to the screenplays. Sadly, he still dies in 1964, with Goldfinger being his last.
• The gunbarrel sequences and title credits are still in!

    I think the biggest mistake was not filming the movies in order of the books. But I doubt Connery would have stayed on for that many movies in 18 years. Also I don't seeing Connery playing the role at 24. I know this is all fan made. If Connery had done OHMSS, whether in 1969 or earlier, the same as Lazenby did it, there would be no Bond movie that would ever top it.

    Connery did NSNA 21 years after DN, so never say never.

    Sadly they couldn't be filmed in order, as the rights to CR had already been sold. Also
    Given the small budget, they looked for the cheapest one to film. :)

    Ok... my assesment after the first batch of comments...

    For the record, the critiques everyone's given. Them I consider to be impartial and fair. Everyone's honesty and politeness has been noted and I laud you all for them.

    To the constructive crticisms, please do note that I mostly made these off the top of my head, and to quote Fleming himself, "the author's pillow fantasy". They were mostly made on the whims of my mind. Still, your critiques are much valued, and appreciated. :)

    On a side note, I wonder if anyone has noticed who I've cast as Leiter and as Ernie Cuneo...
