    New spammer flagged--kirixcena. One last night was arshxcena. I guess there's no way to block people from joining if they have nonsensical names, like ending in "cena", is there?

    I don't know what it is we "need to talk about" concerning spammers? We don't like them and the mods are making their best effort to keep them away. What's there to discuss?

    When I work night's they usually appear around 6am UK time, I don't even click on them its seems to have been going on sometime I am surprised they continue.

    Been noticing a few threads I suspect of spam recent.

    Sorry if this has been covered before, but I'm not sure how we flag them, notify our mods, or how that works?

    I almost don't want to click on the suspected threads in fear of being hacked and all my MI6 info going to Raoul Silva to post on Youtube.

    So exactly what's the protocol for these threads?

    Flag away @ToTheRight , that’s the protocol. Even if you’re unsure we can look into it and confirm one way or the other.
    I don’t think it will effect you or your personal detail.

    It's quite simple, really. You have two options, and both are completely anonymous (except to the mods, of course.)
    1. Since it's perfectly safe, dive into the threads you suspect of being spammy, and hit the 'flag' button in one of the obviously spammy posts. Write your suspicions down. Only the mod team can see the flag and read your comment.
    2. If you don't want to click on a certain thread, PM a mod or several mods. Say what you feel like saying; you'll be doing so in absolute confidence. We'll take a look for you.

    Drop a comment in here if you suspect more of the same filtering through. Spammy threads, or bots etc.

    There was a spam thread a few days ago by who I suspect was a returning long-time troll but it was closed by a mod.
