A quick but brutal death for Stromberg, he sleeps with the fishes now.

I remember my dad telling me that he and the audience all roared when Jaws bit the shark and everyone was practically rooting for him to survive at this point. Even though he was quite menacing and creepy in Spy, his never say die determination would endear him to us all :)

Keeping the British end up sir!

Another classic Rog Bond ending. *sigh*

Welp, another great adventure in the books. It's been fun @Andi1996Ruegg . Will have to do it again on the 30th, sounds like some others will be available then as well!

    LICENCE TO KILL

    ...already 15 minutes in....

the pre-credits-sequence is really great and the title song gave me goose bumps once more, what a great singer Gladys Knight is.

I hate Sanchez though. I can't even love to hate him, I just hate him.

What kills this film for me is the brutality. It's just too much.

Why does Felix lovely wife has to get raped? and brutally killed!!
And Felix is almost bitten to death by a shark.

I don't mind violence but it's too gritty. That's not what I want to see in a Bond film.

The stunt work is brilliant though, you can't tell if Dalton does everything himself or not. It's so well edited.

Sanchez and his pathetic side-kick and the other bad idiots are all so primitive. Hate it.

I rather write on than watch Felix getting eaten....
    ...it's enough to hear it...

I can see though why Dalton is perfect for this kind of film. His rage, anger and dismay are acted brilliantly and I feel it.
Doubt any of the other actors would have managed to pull this off as expertly.

I was shaking when I saw it the first time...I couldn't believe they would kill of Felix Leiter.
By now we see Felix is alive. But it's just too graphic and mean.

Well I'm past the worst bit in the film. Although I remember some pretty awful stuff coming up later.

Usually I like the villains, have respect or even admiration for them.
The villains here are all just bloody primitive. Shame.

Sharks are everywhere in the Bond films. I guess that's the same in the novels? @Birdleson

Despite the great pre-credits-sequence the first 30 minutes of LTK are very weak compared to most other Bond films.

at least now comes one of the scenes I have fond memories of, when Bond gets his licence revoked, Robert Brown shines.
