    I think the dynamic with Q changed from Roger to Tim as there was quite an age difference between Bond and Q by then. Both Roger and Sean were closer to Desmond's generation, and could get away with giving Q sh!t and vice versa now and then. Tim would have looked outright disrespectful saying some of the things Roger could quip: "Having problems keeping it up, Q?" and so forth.
    I think with Pierce the rapport softened even more. But Tim and Desmond had great chemistry, especially in LTK.

    I wouldn't skip parts of a film on principle, but I sure don't have to watch this, what were they thinking overdoing this so much.

    LTK is definitely in line with the more R rated action films of the time. I actually prefer the U.S. 1989 edit over the current uncut version.

    Q leaving....he had quite a bit of screen time here and that helps the film tremendously.

    In the final face-off between Bond and Sanchez the gritty violence works.

    This is powerful stuff, the most powerful stuff I've seen in Bond. Dalton practically crawling on the floor almost finished.
    Dalton really knows everyone out in the acting department. Almost wish I could see him in QoS.
