    Watching SKYFALL at the moment.

Bond is on his way to the new digs. Seems Tanner is always escorting Craig's Bond to new HQ. I think this trend should continue in the next film.

Bond has a nice leather jacket. He looks like he's trying to grow a hip and trendy goatee, but being blond, it comes out gray.
Bond doing pulls ups. That would be funny if Tanner grabs the bar and out does Bond in pulls ups.

Bond shooting and missing his target. He needs glasses.

Bond being tested with word association. Why are Craig's lips so chapped in this scene?
I love his disdain for this exercise.

Here we go, Bond flirts with Moneypenny. He's still trying to grow a goatee.

Before he caught the plane to Istanbul, 007 stopped at Kurt's Barbershop in the Dorchester Hotel.
Kurt was out that day, and Bond didn't have a picture of Hoagy Carmichael handy to describe how he wanted his haircut. The new stylist was a novice who had no idea who Hoagy Carmichael was, and gave Bond a buzz. 007 was so pi$$ed he then went to his tailor on Saville Row to buy a few suits for his Istanbul assignment. Well, his tailor was out and the new guy fit his suits too small. He didn't have time to have this corrected as M would have been on his case for being late to Istanbul. This can throw anyone off, hence Bond not being up to his normal standards and getting shot off the train bridge.

He goes into hiding with the intent on returning once his embarrassing new haircut grows back to normal length. In the meantime, he might as well grow a beard so no one recognizes him and gives him crap about his new do and ill fitting clothes.

Now Bond further disguises himself buy wearing a chauffeur cap and shades.

I love this section with the Patrice fight.

This may be my favorite Craig film, even though I think CR is the best.

Sneaky Bond..........I love this scene with him dangling from the elevator.

By the time B25 come out, you could fit Brosnan's entire era in the space between SKYFALL and the upcoming Bond film.

I really love this section leading up to the Patrice fight. This is classic Bond for today's era. I love it!!!!!!

Ah, Severine! I think it would be interesting if the IMAX version of SKYFALL were released to Blu-ray or 4K. The aspect ratio was quite different. I saw SF several times in the cinema and each theater had a vastly different looking print. The preview screening was more washed out, the Cinerama print was rich in colors, and the IMAX had the taller ratio.
The Blu-ray looks closest to the version I saw at the Cinerama.

Bond is old school and uses a straight razor. YES!!!!!

Bond on the way to the casino is one of my favorite moments. Reminds me of THUNDERBALL. Great music here. Thomas Newman comes thru in a clinch. To be honest I find Newman's score for this film quite Arnold-esque. Pity he couldn't come up with anything new for the follow up.

I love this casino scene. Craig's delivery of "Bond, James Bond" is superb here as well for me.

Bond has a side part in the casino.

If Craig were to use an more oily product , his haircut would look like Joe Friday's. This is the city.............I work here..................

Severine is one of my favorite Craig era Bond girls.

This film was a lot of fun to see in the cinema. The crowd loved it.
I do hope we get a similar response for B25.

Bond sneaks into the shower A little soap here.....a little soap there. Drat! I dropped the soap. Ha ha OHH.

Meanwhile the Scooby gang is forming...........Mallory, Tanner and M are hanging out.

Silva is great. I love Bardem here. If I had one minor complaint is that the name 'Silva" doesn't strike me as memorable as say, Zorin or Stromberg.

Bardem puts the moves on Bond............the audience roared into laughter.
The island set is pretty cool, IMO.

Just began FYEO. Most underrated PTS kicks it off.

Title song is decent. Not a favorite or least favorite. I’ve really looked forward to revisiting this entry.

I should watch FYEO again soon. Maybe tomorrow.

I'm nearing the 3rd act of SF.

    “Luigi, I’ll see you later.”

    “Ok.”

Always thougt this exchange was comical.

    The ski action is terrific.

FYEO doesn’t have a lot of particularly fantastic elements, but it’s collectively a very solid, consistent Bond film. Not a lot of complaints, and Moore himself is at his best. It’s the most unique of all Moore’s Bond films, being more traditional and serious (while not entirely ditching some of the sillier stuff - just trimmed down a lot). Going to be hard for me to rank it, but it has a shot at just sneaking inside my Top 10.

Hmm... You should have more fun with that one than I usually do. For me, Moore’s low point. The PTS is decent. All the Scaramanga scenes are the best parts.

I'd have loved to participate in tonight's group viewing, but I'm off to work. Graveyard shift. Enjoy GOLDEN GUN!

I’ve always loved Bond’s approach to Scaramanga’s island. The score and cinematography, along with the stunt flying, set a terrific (and, again, pulp) mood.

That up through Bond killing Scaramanga is the film’s best stretch.

    FROM RUSSIA WITH LOVE

The SPECTRE agent posing as Bond looks like Howard Sprague (Jack Dodson) of Mayberry. Don Knott's comedic replacement so to speak on THE ANDY GRIFFITH SHOW.

    Great title sequence
I prefer Robert Brownjohn's work to much of Daniel Kleinman's, TBH.

    Chess match:

Kronsteen just kicked his opponent's a$$.
Vladek Sheybal is great. An amazingly creepy villain.

FRWL is different in the sense that one can see Klebb or Blofeld as the film's main villain. I believe I've even read on reference book that refers to Grant as the main villain. Certainly debatable. Then again, Kronsteen is the one who creates this plan to kill bond and steal the Lector decoder.
Will the real villain of FRWL please stand up?

In many ways this one is a direct sequel to DR NO. QoS was quite publicized as being the series' first direct sequel, but I disagree.

    Grant's getting a message................and is interrupted.

Grant puffs out his chest like Robert Mitchum. Someone cast as Grant today would probably be built like the guy who plays Aquaman.

Robert Shaw is great and one of my favorite villains.

Daniela Bianchi is one of my favorite Bond girls as well. This film has an excellent cast.

I like scenes where Bond is out in the country. I imagine it took an hour and half to drive back to the office in London.
    NOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWW ...........about that lunch...........................

M looks good in this one. Bernard Lee is hands down the definitive M for me. I can' t ever picture him effing up and having all the MI6 agents names posed on YouTube.
Q is great here.....now THIS is my favorite Bond gadget. The famous attache case.

James Bond with Bongos!!!!! I love this track on the LP. Just as great in the film.

I missed an opportunity to see a 16mm print of this one screened in my era a few months ago. I was told the colors were on the magenta side. Still I wish I had seen it. IMO, it's hard to beat the experience of a classic Bond on film.

Bond checks out his hotel suite as the Bond theme roars in the background. I think Connery should be snapping his fingers and bopping his head to the rhythm it's so loud.
    Still I love this bit.
He's thinking this room simply won't do.

Last January I stayed in a hotel suite, turned on the television and FRWL was playing at this exact scene. I called and told them the room simply won't do. That was because the cable went out later that night so they moved me into a bigger suite.
    It was funny.

    Back to the salt mines.

Kerim Bey along with Draco is my favorite non-Felix ally.

Every time I pop this one in I feel I'm watching the best film in the series. It almost always remains in my top 5.

Bond is amused by the belly dancer.

Vavra is great. The entire gypsy camp/ Krilenco was removed on ABC.

    CALL ME BWANA poster.

In the novel the poster is for NIAGARA . I'm curious what specific poster artwork Fleming described. Been awhile since I've read the novel.
Big Monroe fan, myself and I feel like watching that color noir soon

Bond orders green figs, yogurt, coffee very black. Today he would say dark roast.

Tatiana waits for him. I'd like to see the Brosnan screen test of this scene.

The Sam Neill version is almost as funny as the James Brolin version.

Great viewing his time. I did notice the "THE END" credit on the Blu Ray appears a bit too early. Weird that it is on the close up of Bond's hand. Not sure why . The cinematic prints had it appear on that final long shot of Venice. Many video versions actually omitted the "James Bond will be back..............." credit which led to an odd jump cut in the credits.

Didn't they cut Bond's line "Quite a performance", leading to an awkward jump cut?

    Quantum of Solace

.I love the beginning of "Mountain Road Chase". A new gunbarrel would've been nice but this is a fantastic opening. Beautiful cinematography and locations.

.I know I'm in the minority but I've never had a problem following the action. The only section where it's too choppy is during the roof chase. This car chase is perfection.

.SF had a good PTS but it, along with SP, really lacks the intensity and breathlessness of this one. Maybe B25 will rectify that.

    .Siena. Beautiful city.

.The stylized fonts help give the film its own flavor. I dig it.

.It's time to get out. This is gonna be fun.

    .Hidden gunbarrel?

.I like AWTD. The music is sort of Bondian but the vocals aren't. It's catchy as hell though.

.MK12 did a good job. I actually prefer this title sequence to CR and SP. I think GE, DAD, and SF are Kleinman's best.

.Craig has his best Bond look in this film. Good haircut and wardrobe.

.I think this interrogation scene could've been a minute or two longer. Great scene.

.This is the one chase scene where the editing is a bit too much. I can still follow it nonetheless.

.I've heard others say that Mitchell should have been Villiers. I just can't see him taking on Bond.

.God I miss this style of Bond film. It suited Craig better.

.I LOVE the shot of Bond and Mitchell falling through the glass.

.Bond shoots Mitchell. Maybe they could have gone the TWINE route and put this sequence before the titles. It could have been a good lead in.

    .Mr. White is gone.

.Back to London. I think they used the city just enough.

.I always thought that guy in the hall looked a lot like Craig.

.I've come to loathe Kinnear as Tanner but he's okay here. No complaints. Yet.

.Unpopular opinion but I like the design of MI6.
