Good idea.
"Our situation has not improved".
Goldfinger is pi$$ed. Great ending here in spite of the questionable model work. I guess Derek Meddings was busy?
Controversial opinion: I wish Lowery hadn't tampered with this scene and left the wires intact. Oddly enough it gave the scene a charm.
YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Great viewing of this Bond and it will most certainly remain in my number one spot.
I love Dawn Raid At Fort Knox. It was on the first James Bond themes collection I ever owned and I still use the track as a motivator at the gym! Pumping, driving sounds toward a Herculean achievement! haha
I tried this before but ballsed it up x if u can do this properly old pal then simply fantastic !!!!!!!!!!
Enjoy @FoxRox - I just watched QOS last week and it's high on the rewatchability factor. So taut, rapidly paced, great soundtrack and the best that Craig looks in the series.
It has one of my absolute favorite film soundtracks. Arnold's work in CR and QOS is just incredible.
I have to say, though I am a big fan of SF, I really hope Fukunaga's direction with B25 is a lot closer to the CR/QOS style than the SF/SP direction. CR and QOS play best to Craig's strengths as Bond.
Would have been interesting if EON hadn't gotten the rights to SPECTRE back, and to see if they would have returned to Quantum or what direction they would have gone in instead of SP. I imagined back in the day when QOS first came out there would be another somewhat direct sequel addressing what would happen next with Quantum.
Truth! It’s pretty great as is. Even has the potential to crack my Top 10 someday.
Excellent, pacy film and the re-watchability factor is great with it.
Ok the reporters are so stupid “are you Colombian” seriously
My wife said Della is attractive and I have to agree she is prettier then the other two actual Bond girls
How did Sánchez arrange his escape that fast or is letters wedding a two day affair
And he planned Felix’s murder I mean jeez and people thought Silva was omniscient
CASINO ROYALE
Great PTS. I love the black and white grainy looks. Reminds me of '54.
The gunbarrel reminds me of DR NO. I love how it's in black and white. Craig's coolest pose.
Titles.
I had a buddy who knew Chris Cornell quite well. They recorded in the same studios in the early '90's. Said he was a nice guy. Real quiet. RIP, Chris.
Great song, IMO. Great title scene. Daniel Kleinman's best easily, IMO.
Beautiful colors.
Of course! Mr White!!!!!
That joke is getting old.
Mr White looks good here. I dig his haircut.
Le Chiffre!!! My fave villain since Sanchez.
Carter effed up thus, thus necessitating an obligatory chase.
Craig is booking it. Which Bond looked the funniest while running?
I like Craig.
Bond ascends to the top of the crane. I think it's funny to make the Mr Wint 'WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO" sound as he flies upwards.
This is my favorite stunt sequence of the modern era. Harks back to John Glen, IMO.
Had Pierce been in this situation I picture him wearing the outfit he had a the satellite dish.
Craig busts through the walls like Lou Ferrigno.
This entire section might have made a great PTS, actually.
Bond escape and looks at an outdated call phone.
This dates the film more than DR NO.
Le chiffre bleeds. Nothing sinister. Damn he'd make a good Dracula. IMO. Mads would look cool in a Jack Palance style Dracula costume.
M has a nice flat.
This is a great M scene. IMO.
Bond is mistaken for an employee of the hotel. That's what he gets for wearing a white short sleeved shirt. I had a black short sleeved shirt once and was mistaken for a retail employee. I rolled with it and pointed out the auto parts section to the customer.
I was so convincing I later got a job a there.
Dimitrios is another character with a happening hairstyle.
He could be the straight man in a comedy team. Great idea. He should give Craig a call and perhaps they can learn "Who's On First"?
Practice it a few times in front of Mickey G and Barbara and go on the road together once Craig retires from Bond. Yeah!!!!!!!!
All the rage.
Honestly, I never really cared for this airport action sequence. There's nothing particularly wrong with it, I just am more entertained by , say the moon buggy chase. Let's see how it fares this time. It's very Mel Gibson or DIE HARD or something.
Bond running...............
Actually I could see Tim in this scene.
It's pretty spectacular, but I feel it's missing something. Perhaps a catchy action theme tune akin to "He's Dangerous"?
"Yippee Ki Yay, Mother........."
as whathisname explodes.
Craig's expression is priceless.
Omeeeeeega.
I think Craig's rapport here with Eva is classic.
Also he looks good. I like the overcoat. The Mendes films suck in the clothes department, IMO. I loathe the too tight hipster fashions of the 2010's. Please go away.
Here Craig looks timeless.
As a Bond fan, he's one of my favorite people in the world.
I never tire of his audio commentaries. I should have watched this with the commentary on today.
One of the reasons this one is so timeless aside from the cell phones.
Craig's clothes are superb.
Mendel!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
One of my favorite characters. Another reason this film is so great- minor characters like Mendel being so memorable.
Felix is great here.
Everyone at the table is superbly cast. Even the bar tender is memorable. They really nailed this one I must say and cannot praise it enough.
Bond orders the Vesper. Everyone else has one.
Felix's coolness is right up there with Jack Lord.
