Clint Eastwood is also allowed to call only if he's making a new Dirty Harry movie and wants me to play the Scorpio killer's son.
Since neither of those scenarios are happening I'll sit back and enjoy

Bond is dead. Out for the count.
M looks youthful in this one. After this film, his hair whitened considerably.
Bernard Lee looks great in the uniform. Might I add he has an excellent haircut as well.

John Barry outdoes himself with yet another masterpiece.
I'm liking latter day Connery lately.
Although his physique is often criticized in his later Bonds, I think he suits the weariness of Fleming's Bond in the later novels quite well.
I found Craig far too ripped to be believable as a burnt out/ over the hill Bond in (only) his 3rd outing.
Bond meets Henderson.
The wonderful Charles Gray.
Looks more gray on the Blu-ray, though. I love the fedora as well.
Connery looks great in the trench coat.
One of the great fight scenes in the film.
I also love Bond opening the safe. We need more scenes like this in future films.
The iconic civilized bath sequence. Another type of scene we don't see much of in the Craig era. I have a feeling we'd have to wait until post-Craig for this to return.
"Don't get the soap in my eye, will you?"
Perhaps this was filmed the same day Connery went to the can and reporters followed him in asking obnoxious questions while he was trying to do his business?
I love the footage of Cubby telling the press to give Connery some privacy so he can enjoy a little lunch.
Wonderful in the Bogart crime noir, TOKYO JOE.

Another day on the set where Connery wasn't in the best of moods.
Still he is every inch Bond here and doesn't let me down.
One of my favorite instrumental versions of a title song ever as Bond runs along the rooftop.
I'm backing that up and watching it again.

An underrated Bond femme fatale, IMO. Karin Dor was amazing. Great in TOPAZ and the cult film ASSIGNMENT TERROR a.k.a DRACULA VS FRANKENSTEIN.

Another type of classic Bond scene we haven't seen in ages: eye popping aerial stunt-work.

My personal favorite Ken Adam set is the Supertanker.
I really love all three Lewis Gilbert Bond films.
I love when a prolific Bond director's unique style gives their films a visual and narrative distinction.
The Lewis Gilbert Bonds are a sight to behold on the big screen in 35mm.
Connery has some great facial expressions. Tiger's expressions are also funny as he's pretty much f*****g with Bond here.
Kissy is another underrated Bond girl, IMO. The lovely Mie Hama.
I remember Christmas of '87 a family friend had given me a wrapped present, which was obviously an LP record. My folks, along with myself, assumed it was the soundtrack album to the latest Bond film, TLD.
However, lo and behold, on Christmas Day I opened the gift and it turned out to be the YOLT soundtrack. The newest stereo edition. I remember the vinyl itself was rather thin compared to my GOLDFINGER and TSWLM records. The other Bonds I had on cassette.
This album I listened to daily for months. Great Christmas that year.

What I wouldn't give to see another Bond film with a big battle climax like this.

This Blofeld would never whine and cry about his dad hanging out with Bond.
Pleasence's Blofeld is evil personified. Pure evil. No back story necessary.
Bond vs Hans.
The greatest fight scene in film history.
We need to keep this 5th outing tradition alive and end NTTD with an in effectual little fight scene.
The Eric Kreigler fight I always felt was a bit weak as well.
Glad you love it. For me my most recent viewing caused it to drop in my rankings.
Yeah it's a huge, entertaining epic but it was when the hardware and sets took over. No wonder Connery got bored with it all.
Ironically followed up with one of the most faithful and best scripts in the series. But hey ho 😁

Another Time, Another Place.
Great introduction I must say.
I keep getting distracted while watching this and I'm starting to feel like Jack Nicholson in THE SHINING when he's trying to type and Shelly Duvall comes in and interrupts him.
This film has some of the most beautiful cinematography in the series, IMO.
And one of the most romantic scenes in the series, IMO, Bond's dance with Domino.
I love the bit at Palmyra. Largo is one of my favorite villains.
That was indeed the line each time I saw this in the cinema.
I remember the early VHS editions were slightly different in sound editing. When I was a kid the 1988 MGM/UA Home video VHS version was my favorite.
Bright picture and beautiful colors.
Bond meets Fiona in the bathroom. The bedroom scene was cut on the ABC network airings.
This film is back at the top of my rankings.
My viewing nearly over. Bond and Domino are about to be whisked up in the plane. A bit saddened and didn't feel much like commenting this time.
