    Anyone here have snow right now? Some of mine is melting, but there's enough to make it a white Christmas.

    Only a dusting so far this season. We usually don't get any substantial snowfall until January.

    I like Bond's inverness cape. I don't think anyone can pull that off these days, but it's pretty great.

    What era of Bond did everyone grow up in? Pretty sure I remember Birdleson grew up during the 60s era Bond.

    I was born in the 80s and Goldeneye was the first I saw.

    The lovely Joanna Lumley as the “English” girl. From what I’ve read she did a lot of post-production dubbing for the rest of Blofeld’s Angels. BTW: Her former husband, Jeremy Lloyd had a small role in the Beatles 1st movie, “A Hard Day’s Night”, and, of course, she starred as Purdy in the “New Avengers.”

    Still waiting for Linda Thorson to do a Bond cameo so that The Avengers/James Bond link can be completed though 😊.

    I've watched promo commercials for that, as well as clips from the cut up and narrated version of OHMSS. While the access to Bond was much more limited, I miss television events like this where everyone would get excited and have to wait for a new Bond to air on television.

    This is definitely one of the more mysterious soundtracks. Weird sound effects, definitely gives this whole place a creepy vibe.

    It starts out so strange! The first scene is the ski chase with Bond narrarating over it. I'm surprised EON let them get away with it, they probably didn't care at that point about OHMSS as it seemed to be the era where they just wanted it erased from memory anyway.

    In addition to OHMSS, ABC really butchered the Connery Bonds. Removing the gunbarrel and PTS to GF, the entire gypsy camp section of FRWL............... words fail me. Still great fun to watch.
