Is that really his name?
EDIT: Ah it's the actors name; great name. And he's in Moonraker again? Cool, I'll have to keep an eye out for him.
@NickTwentyTwo
He's the co-pilot in the PTS.
"Just trust the RAF, Sir".
At the end of SPY now.
Jaws takes a swim and Anya has a change of heart.
Sounds like Roger's voice cracks when he says: " In my country , Major..................."
unless that's a jump in the sound editing.
I love the Broadway musical chorus style rendition of Nobody Does It Better.
I'd only accept that in a Roger film, though as it is pretty silly.
Great viewing of this one. Keeps it's firm place in my top 5.
It suited Sir Rog the best.
Surprisingly I thought Brosnan just looked ridiculous in it.
His hair looked a bit long in that film for the uniform.
Why is it your least favourite out of interest?
Personally it's right up there with the best IMO. Really well edited and technically excellent. The hanger explosion is fantastic and makes SP's 'record breaking' one look pretty ordinary.
The Acrostar was the 'Little Nellie' of the Moore era!
Having made my way here through a marathon of all Bond films, for me this gunbarrel is very impactful. Serra's music is welcome to my ears (though I realize not all), transitioning into a very smooth Bond theme. Animated gunbarrel animation, Brosnan, just love it.
Comments will likely be sporatic as I'm watching the films for a project I'm working on, so there will be a lot of pausing and researching.
"Half of everything is luck, James." "And the other half?" "Fate."
My assumption here is there is leeway in the "no multiposting" rule in this thread due to the nature of it, but if I'm wrong, someone come in here and shut me up.
I can confirm that in the Canadian editions of GoldenEye does not show Xenia getting knocked out: we get a zoomed-in Bond as well.
Is there an actual and accepted quorum about his involvement on Bond's mission?
As of now I'm still working . No lay off for me at the moment. However this is my day off, and I have some time to enjoy 007.
Timothy's birthday is tomorrow so I'm going with
LICENCE TO KILL
I love this PTS.
Felix running in slow motion is funny.
Bond's wedding hat gets a bullet hole. I remember those gunshots being extremely loud in the cinema.
I've always liked Kamen's rendition of the Bond theme. Good stuff here.
Sneaky Bond. I love this section where Bond is snooping around the warehouse and gets caught.
The Krest Warehouse fight is great.
Seems to me (and I don't know if you're british or not, so forgive me), but the british accent has a connecting R that appears between two words which would otherwise be connected by vowels.
Ah, The M sequence.
The Hemingway House. I should pop in TO HAVE AND HAVE NOT sometime soon and get my Bogie/Bacall fix.
Controversial opinion: Dalton's hair looks far worse here than it does in the casino.
Lupe is one of my favorite Bond girls.
Seems like in the film he does work for Draco, as Bond's involvement in Bedlam is totally outside of MI6. Therefore, they probably wouldn't give him any agents to help on his mission.
I like it better when Connery pulls Grant's contact by the hair in FRWL.
Reminds me of the humanized Clark Kent getting pulled by the hair in SUPERMAN II.
Speaking of hair, Dalton's double during the underwater sequence is missing the sideburns.
Here we go................my favorite scene in the series............
The Barrelhead bar.
Dirty Love!
Pam Bouvier is also one of my favorite Bond girls.
Interesting. I never realized that.
This is actually one of my favorite little scenes in the film: Bond and Pam negotiating her fee.
I have a friend with a similar hairstyle who is a musician. I always thought he should call his band "The Receding Mullets".
I never tire of this Bond film. I should really have it ranked higher than I do.
This could possibly be my most watched film in the series.
One part of this film I absolutely hate is Dalton's double take to Pam when she comes in after Bond sends her out to buy some 'proper clothes' in Isthmus, and she walks in as Bond's secretary. So wildly overdramatic and terribly delivered. Otherwise, love this film. :P
It's called a skullet! lol
Tim's facial expression is pretty funny in that shot. He probably didn't intend it to be so.
Good one!
I actually prefer the original U.S. edit of this scene where it cuts just as his head is expanding.
Last time I watched this film with my girlfriend, she laughed her ass of at this scene due to the special effect shot of his bloody head hitting the glass.
Now whenever I watch this I start laughing here.
Tim's performance is one of the criticism's i have with this film. In some parts he really overacts. His acting was much more natural in TLD.
