    Watch that snake, Bond!

Roger smokes cigars instead of cigarettes.
He also doesn't wear a tux in his debut, or ask for a vodka martini!

I vividly remember Live and Let Die premiere on Television
January 1980 it was, it had one of the highest audience figures, 23 million i think. I watched with my younger brother. Loved it, all my mates talking about it in school next day! It still a favourite of mine to this day!

I wonder how many packs of voodoo cards did the prop department have to buy, to pick out all those lovers ones! Or did they just make them?

Jane is on record as saying that Bond was rather nasty to trick Solitaire into bed that way!

    The Bus chase!
I love this set piece! Roger apparently got lessons from a British bus driver!
The shot of the bus doing a 360 is awesome!

To slice the top off, they already cut the upper deck and then mounted it on rollers! Clever

    The Crocodile Farm!
    Teehees favourite place!
It was the real owner of the croc farm himself who did the doubling for the Crocodile hop stunt!
He nearly came a cropper (a croccer?) at one attempt!

    Sheriff J. W. Pepper!
    Some fans hate this character
    I love him!

In the script Tom Mankewicz, apparently just wrote " and the greatest boat chase in cinema history takes place"
No pressure then on the stunt guys!

Its a great set piece, but it could have been tightened up a bit to make it more thrilling!

    The voodoo finale!
Bond looks cool in his all black attire and gun holster! All the publcity photos for the TV debut showed him in this gear!

    Great entrance for Baron Samedi!

They should have made more of this Samedi/ Bond machete fight! Too brief! Great finish though

Kanangas workers all look like they work for Amazon or such like, with their red tops and blue pants!

I cant remember whether ITV in the original TV showing, cut this shot of Bond having his arm sliced by Kananga!

    Great fight with Kananga
    But his demise????
How anyone thought this inflated ending for the villain was a good idea or that it looked good on film is beyond me! Such a pity as Kananga was a good nemisis for 007!
