Bond decides to keep his rental car a little longer.

    DELLA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dalton gives a great performance in this scene. I love that this is straight from Fleming.

He disagreed with something that ate him.

The scene with Krest at the warehouse is great. Bond doing a little detective work.

Been awhile since I read LALD but I believe this bit where Bond and Sharkey sneak up to the warehouse has a similar scene.
I absolutely love this scene. Sneaky Bond, and the Kamen score provides superb atmosphere.

The reaction shot of Sharkey after Killer says "There's $2 million in that suitcase" I remember being extremely grainy in the cinema. Also there was a reel change in that shot which was sloppy.

    I love the Wavekrest section.

This is one of my favorite underwater sequences in the series. Too bad Craig never had a cool scuba fight in his films.

Again, the Kamen score is superb. Initially I was disappointed in the music back in '89. Compared to what came next, Kamen is John Barry.

    Dirty Love!

Maybe Bond shouldn't have conspicuously gone up to the bartender and asked for Bouvier? Craig would've have entered the room and glanced around first, thus spotting her.

Bond gets his ass kicked for a moment.
It's funny when the song slows down.

The boat scene with Pam is also great. I love the back projection.
M's door has blue leather padding rather than red or brown.

Bond thinks Pam dresses like a slob.

500 kilos! I knew they'd go for it.

Always liked the camera pan up on Lupe in that striking red dress.

This DVD copy is a bit magenta. The blackjack table is too greenish, IMO.
That turquoise should be more on the blue side.

I used to seriously eff with the picture knobs on our old TV back in the day. We had an RCA Colortrak 2000 model, pretty hi-tech in the 80's.
The drummer in my Dad's band came over one night while I happened to be watching this Bond film and adjusted the picture for me. He had it looking really good, and close to the cinematic experience. After about a decade or more that TV started to go, and I'd be tweaking the settings to try and get it back the way he had it. I eventually replaced that television.

Don Stroud lost his eye in a fight shortly after finishing this movie.

Pam has always been a favorite of mine. A wonderful Bond girl.

More sneaky Bond as he swims into the Wavekrest again. Lupe looks quite striking in these scenes as Sanchez questions Krest.

I think I prefer the original U.S. cut. When Krest's head explodes in the uncut version, it's hilarious. My late girlfriend laughed here when I showed her this film. Ever since then I can't watch this scene without finding it funny.

    Truman-Lodge is getting stressed out.

Sanchez wears slip on shoes with no socks.

Truman-Lodge tries to get away before being caught by Sanchez. I like that little jump he does.

I love the mountain road tanker chase sequence. This reminds me of a classic matinee serial as much as the Indiana Jones films do.

    OH NO!!!

    SHIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Kamen's music kicks in after Truman -Lodge is shot.

I love his Bond theme during the wheelie stunt.

I love Dalton's facial expressions as he's reaching thru the windshield for the tanker ladder ahead of him.

It's funny when Perez and Braun drive off that cliff.

Bond and Sanchez duke it out on the back of the tanker, while both wearing slip on dress shoes.

    YESSIR!

Audio glitch there on this release. Those lines are out of sync.

I really don't mind the light hearted cheese of the final scene.
    Excellent Bond flick.
