For a 29 year old, George had quite a few lines on his face. He could pass for mid thirties I loved that his features looked lived in. Bond shouldn't look too young, IMO.

Holy crap I love the music during the Gumbold office scene.

George Baker is great. Love this scene between Sir Hilary and Bond.

Here we go.........I need to see some snowy Bond scenes and this fits the bill.

I love snow and Christmas time.
Bond does look a little goofy in his Sir Hilary inverness cape and glasses. Great disguise, though.
The journey to Piz Gloria is one of my favorite moments in the series.
For a novice actor, I think Lazenby did an amazing job.

I believe today is Anouska Hempel's birthday.
Happy birthday. She's my second favorite Angel of Death after Julie Ege.

    Savalas was a great Blofeld.

Nearly 20 years ago I stayed with a friend for a couple months while I looked for an apartment.
All of the rooms in his house had sliding doors. Reminded me of the sliding doors in Piz Gloria.
I pretended to be Bond while I stayed there. In fact I showed him this Bond film during that time period. He'd never seen George's portrayal of Bond. He quite liked the film, though his favorite would later become CR.

Love Bond's attempts to escape the cable car mechanical room. This section of the film reminds me of WHERE EAGLES DARE.

    Olympe is pretty cute.

Yes! Virginia North was a looker. No wonder Draco liked to play so much chess! :D

PS. I'm watching Murder, My Sweet. Couldn't you have picked another day to watch OHMSS? It's my #1 Bond.

I may pop it in again before Christmas. I have a few days off next week.
Murder My Sweet is excellent. I'm due to watch that one again soon.

I know, I’ve said this before, but if TLD never took us to Afghanistan, or maybe just kept Kara out of that segment, it would probably be in Top 10 range for me.

Both OHMSS and Where Eagles Dare are must watches for me at Christmas!

I'm suddenly in the mood to show some love for
    DIE ANOTHER DAY.

Considering I often sign the praises of DAF, NSNA and especially AVTAK, I think I can spread the love for this, usually ranked as my least favorite entry.

Loving the PTS. Brosnan looks great here.
I do like Bond being torture during the titles. I think it works fine.

Bond looks like he should be in a rock band back in 1969. Brosnan's got the singing chops as seen in.......what's that movie called? Never mind. No, he would be the silent bassist or drummer. No singning required.

Bond back to normal. Peaceful Fountains of Desire. Forgot how Bondian this scene was.

DIE ANOTHER DAY....once Rachel Grant checks out, I tend to do so as well.:D

The Cuba transition and another of my favorite David Arnold tracks.
I love this scene. Great stuff and classic Bond.
Again, Pierce is looking the business in this one. In a couple years I'll be his age in this film. I could probably pull off his haircut here.
The clothes are great as well, IMO. I find it easier to pull off a Bondian look in my 40s than I did at 24 or whatever.

Bond in the old school convertable. Again, Brosnan looking like the bad ass he is.
    Great Arnold music.

Bond meets Jinx. I prefer the NSNA equivalent to this scene with Bond and Fatima, however, I'm appreciating this more now than ever.

    Bond and Jinx get down.

I need to steal more grapes like Bond.

I do like that this film presents Bond and the villain as mirror images of each other....as Fleming often illustrated.
Bond and Graves sneer at each other.

    I love swordfights. Swashbuckling Bond.
Dalton would've been GREAT in this type of scene.
This is like an homage to Errol Flynn or Tyrone Power.

LOL! Yeah. I'm actually enjoying this viewing tonight. It's probably been a year since I've watched this one. :D

M actually looks terrified during the virtual reality scene. Never noticed that before.

The Iceland section is what I wanted to see. Lots of snow where I live now.
Bond wears dress shoes in Iceland.
I do like the Ice Palace set, though. Classic Bond.

I love the bit where Bond swims underneath the ice.
Now we get the laser fight.
Some of the dialogue isn't up to par, but meh. I'll roll with it, anyway.
