This fight scene is Rogers best. Quite brutal!
Yep. The choreography plays a lot into that.

    Great write up, @Mathis1!
Suddenly in the mood for some Roger Moore Bond...........

    OCTOPUSSY

Perfectly reliable gunbarrel and I love it for that reason.
Great opening shot as Bond drives into the airbase.
Two years ago I got my covid shot at out local airport and the military and police were guiding vehichles thru the gate, just like in this opening shot.
I pretended to be Roger Moore.
I love Bond's gadget attache case in this PTS.
This could well be my favorite PTS in the series.

I like Bond's boots. The acrostar jet is one of my favorite vehicles.
Roger Moore is as cool as one can be.
    Bad ass personified.

"All Time High" tends to get some flack for being an easy listening ballad. That said, I think the last two Craig era themes were easily as sappy if not moreso.
I like them for that reason.
Bond's double in the titles looks NOTHING like Roger Moore.
Considering the boobage and ass shots in this title sequence, I'd bet this film would be hard pressed to get a PG rating today.

There really are a lot of cute girls at the auction Bond attends.

Vijay's rendition of the Bond theme is slightly out of key.

    Kamal kicked the Major's ass.

Bond puts the moves on Magda and is instantly rejected.
    He keeps his cool, though.
    Great "Bond.......James Bond", too!

Kamal's haircut looks kind of jacked up in the back during the backgammon sequence. Looks like he's trying to grow a tail.

    My favorite Roger Moore Seiko.
    Love the Q scene here.
    Bond needles Q throughout.
Vijay thinks it's funny that Bond gives Q sh*t.

The price of eggs really is going up where I live.
    Pretty much doubled.

The bedroom scene with Madga is pretty funny.
I wonder if those are real?
    Her nails.

I never get tired of this Bond movie.
The great stuffed sheep's head sequence!
I remember the audience's "EEEEEEEEWWWWWWWWWs" as Kamal devours the eyeball.
    It was hilarious.

My favorite Roger Moore safari suit and Sneaky Bond sequence.
Bond spying on Kamal and Orlov was my favorite part of this film when I saw it in the cinema.
This movie really cemented my Bond fandom as a kid.

I love when Bond smashes the thug's face into the octopus tank.

    OOOOOOOHHHHHHHH!

If this were a Daniel Craig Bond movie, Bond would've been killed by the crocodile here for real.

Bond in disguise as a circus employee.

Bond is good at shooting people in the head.

The scene where Martin Grace was injured.
Bond dangling on the side of the train is pretty intense.

I remember my Dad taking me to a circus when I was a kid. I was in the first grade. It was fun. I remember the acrobats flying around dozens of feet above the net. There weren't any cute girls like Magda juggling, though.

My hair is about the same color as Roger Moore's in this film. I wonder if I should grow it out like his?
Where I live just about everyone has their hair cut like General Orlov's.
Guys like Orlov and the jailer in THE LIVING DAYLIGHTS were way ahead of their time fashionwise.
The jailer style is THE LOOK everyone goes for in 2023.

Madga just kicked this one guy's arse with ease.
    That was great.

I miss when Bond films would end with a reprise of the main title theme.
    Those were the days.
    Great viewing!

    Nice one @ToTheRight
Love Octopussy, still my favourite Rog Bond movie. Hard to believe its nearly 40 yrs since I watched it on a glorious sunny Sunday afternoon at the cinema, packed house enjoying every minute of it.. those were the days indeed!
There was a magazine called 'InDublin' whose film critic ended the review with "...racist, sexist, but unflaggingly entertaining, with some marvellous stuntwork!" Hard to argue with that!
