    The callbacks in the title sequence and sprinkled in the film is legendary, saying that the pre title scenes are so strong I don't think the call backs are needed though I understand why they did it for a wider audience.

    I love it when Bond slams the gate back against one of Draco's men. I am going to rewind that.

    The Bond Draco scene is incredible, I love the abrupt tonal shift.

    Bond has some great brother/father relationships throughout the series.

    Do you know how Christmas trees are grown I find is haunting throughout the film, it is often a juxtaposition and at and odds with what is going on, the song is a masterstroke,

    Alas I fell asleep my birthday celebrations caught up with me 😂

    I think I repeated myself quite a bit with my comments 😂

    We should do a group watch at some point not sure if you guys have done one recently.

    Recently become a bit obsessed with music again as rebuilt my physical media collection including buying a lot of tape cassettes, I need to get Bond and John Barry on cassete though not easy to find at reasonable prices.

    It gets harder to come up with words to describe Bond movies, we've used them all up 😂
    Yes, we should do a group watch someday. Our friend @ToTheRight should be involved, and a few others besides! To paraphrase Alec McKeoowns Q, things have gone awfully quiet around here lately, everyone seems to be impatient around the next Bond!! Me, I am forever grateful that I have at least 20 Bond films I can still fully enjoy, and never get tired of!!

    I have resigned myself to the fact the best Bond films that will ever be exist already, in today's world I don't think a Bond film will measure up to my expectations, hopefully I am wrong.

    Honestly if they ended the series I would not be too fussed I do feel that the films have become creatively bankrupt certainly the last few DC films. Six years and the result was NTTD, that is pretty poor to think Cubby and Saltzman made a good to great film every one or two years.
