TWINE drags so much more for me now than it used to. Used to be my second favorite Brosnan Bond film with ease, now it has dropped below TND and is going to be around #20 on my list. I still like things about it (Elektra, most of Brosnan's performance, some of the action scenes), but also really don't care for other things (Renard, Denise Richards, dull scenes).

I've always liked it ,the PTS,killing of Davidov in cold blood, entering Zukovski's casino and pinning the henchman to the bar with his own knife, the caviar factory battle ( I love this but I am soooo in the minority),killing of Electra..

I like the caviar factory battle as well actually; one of my favorite parts. The PTS is good, but way too long. Killing of Elektra is a good scene. It is still above my all-time least favorite Bond films, but I just used to like this film so much more collectively.

Well if its any consolation,i've just finished watching QOS and its the least I have enjoyed it for a long while considering it sits at #4 in my rankings.

I will put it down to being awake at 2am.
I'm just trying to think who is challenging it in 5th place ,I think its either TB,GE or OP.

    YOU ONLY LIVE TWICE

In honor of Craig's 5th outing it's time for Sean's....................
Capsule in Space- great opening..............IMO the space effects look far better than any of the CGI crap today.

Starting a reverse Bondathon on impulse...

Spectre though not as we knew it...

I have read a few comments on the Mexico opening, Bond waddled like a duck though despite that it is the best set piece of the film

Mendes for me is pretentious not a fan

I don't blame Craig though this is cringeworthy

DC last two films are not very good

SP I have little time for same as SF they have very limited rewatchability for me, both films seem to get worse as time passes.

Well, not so different from comments on the previous films slamming TOMORROW NEVER DIES and THE WORLD IS NOT ENOUGH, or THE WORLD IS NOT ENOUGH and DIE ANOTHER DAY.

Of course I'm biased since I like all four Craig Bond films. Beyond box office, they rate fine alongside most of the previous missions by IMDb and RottenTomatoes and other measures. I don't even see SPECTRE as some heavy rejection from the audience, it's a solid success on its own.

I rate LTK highly one of worst box office receipts so to speak, I don't pay attention to movie sites I like what I like

In certain scenes Craig looks older than his age, he is not the same Bond from his first two films in SP.

SP is bottom 3 it's bad though not so bad it's good bad

I have my opinion, and I can compare others' comments to my own plus how the film was received by the audience. That was in response to the observation that there are overwhelming comments on the board that 2 of the last 4 films are less than good or bottom dwellers. Just perspective and discussion.

SP has good scenes as does other films low ranked, we like the films we can revisit and enjoy.

The Rome car sequences is ok, though Bond producers are stuck in trying to make it as grounded as possible which makes the sequence underwhelming.

True and we all like different eras, my apologies if I am being dogmatic.

Not to distract and my last comment, but I don't happen to dislike the previous eras. I grew up with them.
I started my reverse Bond marathon last week, so tomorrow it's SKYFALL. And yes, I should comment on that.

SP buacracy scenes drag the film down, Mendes made technically good films though felt the content was weak

Post pre titles... SP Audience do you want a awesome Bond action sequence in Spectre??? Sorry not happening

    God this film is bad

The exposition for Spectre is appalling

The film is shot reasonbly well, the script and story is terrible

The film score for SP drains the audiences enthusiasm, if the film makers wanted to bore the audience with mundane exposition they succeeded.

Batista fight scene is good, though Bond looks constantly weak think it's down to big height difference.

Not for one second do I think Waltz is Blofeld, that's where it all falls down. The Dentist scene falls Flat
