  Has the potential to be great. Two biggest worries for me are - 1) Cavill - his acting chops are debatable and I find him tremendously uncharismatic. 2) Ritchie - the king of style over substance. The fact Vaughn stepped in, post Snatch, and directed a better gangster film than Ritchie ever has says a lot.

  I highly doubt it. In fact, the moment he was cast as superman I ruled him out completely from ever becoming Bond.

  That would suggest that Jared as Sanders is either a rep from the CIA or British Intelligence (Vikanders handler?) while Grant as Waverly reps British Naval Intelligence.
  
  In any case today is Sept. 22.................. U.N.C.L.E. premiered on NBC 49 years ago!
  
  The new feature will mark the 50th anniversary. Shades of SKYFALL.

U.N.C.L.E. is the first TV series to develop a true cult following, the first television production to so fully seize the imaginations of huge numbers of viewers that it creates a dedicated, widespread and permanent fandom of the type previously generated only by popular, fanciful literature, i.e., Sherlock Holmes, Tarzan, science fiction, pulp adventures and comic books.
